I'm proud to start this new page off with my new pen from Ohto. It's a black lacquer pen with an Iridium point nib. There's a satisfying click when taking off the cap. Pressing down the cap gives another click. Ensuring that the cap is secure, so your pocket won't become stain inadvertently by ink from your Proud Ohto.
That same cap balances easily on the end of the pens barrel shaped cylendar. Unlike the Dude, the Proud has a fine tip, with a smooth cylendar shape. The nib is rubber, down to the iridium pointed nib tip. There is a difficult to remove, but easy to identify sticker on the cap. Just in case the gold embossing Made in "Japan; Proud Ohto" was not visible. There is a bright white Ricker with the stock number and nomenclature. Oh and a barcode too. If I were a merchant, then this is the pen for me. There's no mistaking it. The Proud Ohto is elegant, and economical. The other name, just in case, is; FF-150-BK (Black) [1500]. Just teasing, it is a wonderful pen. Make sure to check the nib when you buy it, but do buy it. This is the great pen to begin your fountain pen journey with.

The cap has a sticker that is both simple to recognize and tough to remove. In case the gold embossing reading Made in "Japan; Proud Ohto" wasn't clear. A white Ricker with a stock number and model name may be seen. A barcode, too, by the way. This is the perfect pen for me if I were a businessman. https://drifthunters2.io

The cap contains a sticker that is both easy to identify and difficult to remove. If the gold embossing stating Made in "Japan; Proud Ohto" wasn't evident enough. It is possible to view a white Ricker with a stock number and model name. By the way, there's also a barcode. If I were a businessman, this would be the ideal pen for me.

The sticker on the cap is easy to spot but challenging to remove. To clarify what the gold embossing reading "Japan; Proud Ohto" means: it means that the product was made in Japan. The pen fulfills its intended function, and I plan to retain it for occasions when I require the usage of black ink. Certain government offices, albeit not all, prefer the utilization of black ink. I am unable to pinpoint the reason behind it. Blue color appears to discourage excessive paper duplication.
