One-Hour Drawing Game Alert
Continuing on from the regular updates in the news thread, One-Hour Drawing Game alerts will from now on appear in this dedicated thread and as usual I will post a link to the 1draw whenever Youmu is featured among its daily characters.
>What is the One-Hour Drawing Game?
The One-Hour Drawing Game (also called "1draw") is a daily challenge on Twitter under the hashtag #深夜の真剣お絵描き60分一本勝負 where artists can choose from three different Touhou characters and only have one hour to finish and upload their illustration(s) beginning 22:00 JST.
The characters are announced by its official account (@1draw_night) about half a day in advance, but the exact time varies.
Once in a while it's only announced shortly in advance and in some rare cases the characters are free-for-all.
Note: The Touhou fandom's One-Hour Drawing Game has also spawned similar challenges for other franchises.
These tend to be held at different times with an amended hashtag usually prefixed with the series name, e.g. #艦これ版深夜の真剣お絵描き60分一本勝負 for Kancolle.
Because Touhou still uses the plain hashtag, some mistagged art from the other versions might appear (especially at the beginning or end of the search query).
Youmu Is Playable Again
Youmu To Appear As a Playable Character in Touhou 17
Youmu was just announced as the third playable character in Touhou 17. In the game Youmu will travel to hell and control animal spirits. It has been 8 years since her last appearance in Ten Desires.

YOUMU MADE IT TO THE 4TH PLACE!
She managed to pass both Flandre and Sakuya.
Additionally, she topped the support work quantity and I think she also has the highest 1st choice rate (almost 22%).
Calculating them all would be a pain.
Furthermore, the gap between Youmu and Reimu is closing (down from ~1/3 to ~1/5).
(This time around, the organizers decided to release the ranking first and process additional data like comments and the survey later, so there was not need for a final exit poll.)

On the next page you'll be asked to fill the form to receive your voting ID.

The five links under "投票する" are the vote categories. This time there's also a "best partners" category.

Wallpapers
Recently decided to put the wallpapers I tend to use on a rotation.
Went through the trouble of making them 1920x1080 so windows doesn't try some funky resize thing itself and make it look bad.
Some I had to stretch quite a bit but it's not usually that noticeable.
Myon Personality/Psychology General Thread
We all know that Youmu varies both in personality and in eye color both in canon and in fanon. So here's my theory why that is. It still has some issues though: I think that Youmu is a very moody person (although always very diligent). We know that she got easily influenced by the scarlet mist in PCB and her eye color not only got red but she also became somewhat irrational and crazy. Basically, I think that this condition arose because of her growing up in Meikai. Due to Hanrei being external she gets affected by the Yuurei around her. Her feelings are then apparent from her eye color. Basically: Red means insanity, blue means composedness and yellow means being focussed. Dark colors are more intense and light colors less intense. Of course, mixtures are quite common, too. Blue is her primary eye color but it is often mixed with yellow and therefore becomes green. Now, if you add deredere to any of the possible combinations, this may result in various dere-types (usually lighter colors). But I usually see her as Kuudere sometimes mixed with Dandere. Depending on those around her, her eye color may change all the time.I know, there are still some issues (especially in the picture) and I'm really unsure about the assignment of the main colors (insanity, composedness, focussedness), but I will continue to work it out.
