I'm here because I thought that we could put a list of Touohu-characters only boards in the blotter to help advertising similar boards. Something like what I have at /gap/:

I know some of them are almost totally dead, but I still have hope that they'll get at least some minimal activity.

Hmmm, added it last night to the announcment but it's not showing up even in incognito so it shouldn't be a cache thing? Is 8chan being funky or am I just a derp?

It does show up whenever I click preview next to the announcement setting though… weird.

8chan uses static pages - to make the blotter changes appear you have to make a post on the board. In that way, the static main page refreshes and displays the new blotter~
That's why it appeared when you posted. Also nice, thank you for adding it - I hope it'll bring new life to our boards~

No objections here.

I think the main problem is that most of the single character boards are dead. There's even a dead /youmu/ board.
Advertisement among "active" single character boards doesn't work all that well either, because regular posters are obviously obsessively dedicated to a single character. But the board character could once in a while pay a "visit" to another board.
In any case, it's unlikely that someone of the Youmu cluster finds this board via /gap/ (or the other way around).
There might be a few more people obsessed with Youmu who don't know about this board yet somewhere on 8chan, but advertising on /v/ or /2hu/ has its own dangers.

Another thing:
/chen/, /myouren/, /flandre/ and /9/ all have one thing in common: Their owners haven't logged in for over a year meaning that they're completely unmoderated space right now.
