The elder ash of the church falls upon a different France. It’s weird to imagine the ash from the wood is over 700 years old.
Other than this, the twitter reactions and how world leaders are reacting gives me weird vibes.

You know…it's actually rather symbolic.

That a building which took over a century to build, survived the French Revolution and five republics, burned down in two hours to the enthused cheers of Jews and Muslim refugees? Yeah, I'd say it's pretty symbolic.

I'm a bit terrified there's a subtle cultural revolution underway, peasantanon.

It's only subtle if you don't want to see it happening.

It's not just France, it's symbolic of the downfall of Western culture as a whole.

its a rallying cry, not an ill omen. france will become more conscious of the things that theyve lost, and the things that theyre losing.

It's too bad that more of Wass Alberts books are not translated in English. One of my favourites is Hagyaték (Inheritance).

Get ready for 2070 mode; the future is advancing faster than we can account. There is no room for hate, old stuff, and racist memorials.

It basically talks about Transylvanian history from a certain point of view. That is to say, it tries to prove how certain traditions of the ancient táltos religion survived the centuries following the conversion to Christianity, all the way from the first Christian kings to when the book was written (1985).

I feel this will be relevant to the discussion.

Footage of a man on the cathedral's roof after workers had already left, darkly dressed and with nothing identifying him as a worker.

Notre Dame Architect in Chief remarked during an interview that the old growth oak beams are very difficult to ignite, and that an accident is unlikely.
I'm also trying to find a link but I recall a report stating that renovation work hadn't even properly started yet. All electrical equipment had been depowered (confirmed by the police during their investigation) and no fire hazardous equipment was in use at the time.
It's beginning to look more and more like arson.
Side note: earlier footage of a guy in a yellow vest in the building during the fire was discovered to be a guy working with the fire department. That footage is entirely separate.

About a thousand churches a year burn down in France due to people setting them on fire. I think. It's a LOT.
Only now people pay attention.
They are literally burning all their churches down.
