Greetings courtiers and commoners of /monarchy/ from Burgerland. Hail to the King for he is good.
I come to you all today because i've been brainstorming an idea to get monarchy in the United States, or at least a more pragmatic way than trying to push a Bill through the greedy, selfish, slothful, "do nothing" Congress.
Following the tradition of Emperor Joshua Norton (pic related), someone with good moral character (and some money) ought to go around their county and proclaim themselves as the "Count of [your county here]". Doing good deeds and spreading the good word of Monarchy. Eventually convincing enough people to want a referendum (or special election) to disband the County Board (or however your county is organized) and install the Count as the Monarch of that county. Making that position inheritable.
All it would take is one county in the US to do this to inspire more Counts to rise up from the ashes of our (((Democratic - Republic))), or the success of that Count should attract other counties to vote him in as their count (until he owns enough land to be considered a Duke)
A great way to legitimize the Count's claim would be to have a Bishop (Catholic or Orthodox) bless him as the appointed monarch of the county. This formality should be enough to put the Bishop's congregation in the Count's pocket.
In the long run, I envision America becoming a new HRE (because Americans are, unfortunately, culturally Republican). Where the landed Nobles vote on legislation and who gets to become the new Kaiser.
The reasons why I think it can work
1. More and more people are becoming disillusioned with our current Democratic process.
2. The youth are becoming more Conservative and religious everyday.
3. The people loved Emperor Norton.
4. Crypto currency technology can be used to circumvent the need and dependency on the (((Federal Reserve Notes))) and solidify the Count's economy.
Why it wont work
1. Unfair media coverage
2. Assassinations
3. Not producing a male heir
4. Possibly no recognition from foreign Monarchs
The only other practical way the US could become a Monarchy (that I can think of) would be to go the route of Rome.
What do y'all think?
Am I crazy? Too idealistic?
How could it work? Will it ever work? Is Rome our Destiny?

Refferendums need to first be proclaimed by the government (good luck convincing them to do that) and are not legally binding, and their results can thus be freely ignored. Not sure about burgerland, but in Europe, attacking democracy is also illegal and would land you in the slammer. There wouldn't even need to be any assassination or anything of the sort. Media would run a segment where they'd laugh at the count like he was part of local folklore - a bemusing mad man, and any legal initiative from him would simply be ignored. Today's youth may be disillusioned by the government, but it still has a massive democracy boner due to years and years of institutionalised brainwashing and lack of political and historical knowledge. You cannot "vote" yourself to a monarchy here. By playing the "vote" game, you're battling democracy on its home ground, one where it is going to easily win, not to mention that a monarchs mandate to rule being "I was voted into office" is quite amusing. Monarchy in America will only be possible to achieve should the country break apart during a civil war, where one might be able to take over a small territory and seccede.

currently according to poll done by tvn24 his party has 5% of votes what makes them barely entering the parliament

Making the USA into a monarchy is impossible.
I don't think there ever was a chance to do it.
America was created as the ideal modernist country and is used to spread modernity across the world.
You're suggesting to take down the enemy from the inside of it's capital. A mission impossible.

Alright, just to get the LARP back on…how would the progenitor for the American Royal Family be selected? Personally, I'm in favor of taking the top 200 wealthiest men in the country and, and having them fight to the death. Not in some uncivilized brawl, of course, but properly, through referee'd duels. One vintage Colt Python per participant, with brackets arranged in the style of a tourney. Each individual state could have a similar tourney for their local governance, after which the winner of the state duel will choose whether to accept the Monarch as his liege, with all of the benefits that that implies, or to attempt to raise an independent kingdom.

In America, attacking democracy is a right directly guaranteed by the Constitution. Likewise, the GOP could actually gain the power necessary to amend the Constitution and establish a Monarchy during next month's midterm election. The Constitution theoretically "guarantee[s] to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government," but in practice the Supreme Court has ruled that it has no authority, and the meaning of this clause is "a political question."

You raise a good point, those who seek and thirst for power are generally those who deserve it the least. That being said, I'd imagine a fight to the death among billionaires would be not unlike a lottery, as none of America's financial elite have trained themselves in the art of combat for gaining more power. As such, the outcome of such a duel would in effect be about as random as a lottery.

The problem with a concept American Monarchy is that the very start of our nation was a revolt against a king, although the war wasn't specifically against monarchy itself and rather the king's lack of representing Americans in Parliament despite the tax, it would be hard to push Americans towards it

Would it be any harder than pushing European nations to it, fully cucked as they are?
One possibility for monarchy in the states is to push for it from the libertarian angle which, given our history and culture, would be easier in the US than elsewhere. Stressing that monarchy is the best path to self-determination and bureaucrats staying out of your life, and other arguments of that sort.

>Well Europe does have a history of monarchy so possibly it could be easier
Yeah, but that goes both ways. It's also the place that's been the target of the most severe anti-monarchy shilling, especially in the wake of WWI. Since everyone alive today has been subject to republican propaganda from birth, I'm not sure how much history will really play in our favor here.
>That could work but we'd have to have mountains of proof to back that up to win people over
You're thinking about this the wrong way. The plebeians don't operate based on proof, they operate on a combination of emotional satisfaction and social acceptability. The mountains of proof already exists, for anyone who cares to look for it; people are just too ADHD to bother sifting through it all. What you really need is a group of elites getting the plebs organized, pulling people to their cause through small, easy-to-digest morsels of informative propaganda. Political cartoons, pastel-colored infographics, and other things of that nature. None of the proof should be longer than the "Common Sense" pamphlet that was distributed during the burger revolution.

I honestly don't think it can be achieved without a catastrophe happening first. The culture of the US has been built from the ground up from republican ideals. Kind of like how far leftism and communism is sort of a culture in and of itself derived from marxist values. The republic has to fall first, then the people will be open to whoever can provide them with protection, and if that's a monarch, they wont have any qualms with it.
