the Ukraine Part 1: The Fall of the USSR
It is important to understand why Ukraine has been important. Historically, Strategically, what it means for the relationship between the US/Russia, Nato, the treaties, the Nazis connection, US POL corruption, etc.
Taking time away from current digs to do this, I hope its received well.
The Ukraine was apart of the USSR which officially lowered its flag, and raised Russia's flag on December 25th, 1991.
The unknowing will say that USSR fell with the wall that fell in Germany, June 13, 1990.. but it was after that, and was because of internal problems it faced. Estonia was the first to leave back in 1988, prior to the wall in Germany falling.
So why this is important.
1.) they were a superpower (like the United States)
2.) they had nuclear weapons.
3.) geographic size of country was very large.
4.) the world is connected, cold war or not.
5.) spy ops from both sides intertwined
6.) this history/narrative that the world has lived since WW2.
7.) Nato and how it plays into heightening tensions world wide.
Just going to go on record and state that Wikipedia is anything but trustworthy when it comes to information about the history of the Ukraine.. but there will be some information (dates) that are correct and will be used to establish a timeline of events. FYI. Keep the good, throw the bad out with the bathwater. Its really tough to understand because the Ukraine was/is still a "BLACK SITE/DEEP STATE ran state like North Korea was, so don't expect "official" paperwork to be trustworthy or truthful in their explanation of events, or intensions.
