Well, you'll note that a lot of these giant lizards basically have human-like anatomy but with reptile features. You will want to study:
Human Anatomy (You will need this to know how to draw both the Kaiju and their hapless human victims)
Perspective (To draw the buildings and vehicles the Kaiju destroy)
Learning how to draw lizards and bugs comes a close third.
