What are main libertarian thinkers thoughts on cloning? My question is not ill intended, I am really interested on it and I would love to clone myself instead of having kids with my partner.
I am going to give you a bit of my backgroud, I am studying biochemistry at college, I am about to end my degree, I fully understand that clonation is not perfect and there is high risk of mutations and random changes, which are normally harmful, but every pregnancy has also the same chance of mutations and random changes (that is how evolution works in all living beings afterall) but new technologies like CRISPR-CAS9 offer the possibility to correct those copy-paste mistakes that occur during the cloning process.
I am mostly interested in the libertarian ethics of cloning, obviously statists, anarcho-commies and even some minarchists are not going to feel like allowing it.

Oh boy… I want a race of superhumans with a minimum IQ of 200, low time preference, and high functioning autism to lead and inspire the rest of humanity. They should also have heroic traits like courage, willpower, and the ability to stay relaxed under pressure. Obviously I want them to be strong, healthy, and resistant to diseases too. I would also look out for interesting mutations, like the ability to breathe in low oxygen environments like that one tribe in Tibet, or to stay without breath for a long time like those sea nomads in Indonesia, this would be useful for an aquatic or spacefaring race.
Hopefully, after this there could be a broader eugenics program to unfuck the dysgenics in the general population.

While I don't think many Libertarian writers have commented on the phenomena (at least not that I know of, so forgive my ignorance) we can logically conclude that there's obviously nothing wrong with it, especially considering there's nothing wrong with something like genetic engineering (most especially if it can help prevent diseases and other unwanted pains in one's lifespan). There's a definite future in securing and biologically engineering a more intelligent, more durable human being so congratulations to you on not picking a useless major and actually doing something productive.

That's the plan, man. All we need is one island of freedom to act as a beacon of liberty for the rest of the world, it would be poetic if it were Russia given our history, but it would also be great if Poland or Brazil got to it first, since they also have large libertarian movements as far as I know. Long ago, it was America that everyone would point to as the most free country in the world and use it an example of something to strive for, but nowadays only SJWs do that to say shit like "look, they're so well-off because they have welfare", which REALLY lowers the standard of freedom for the rest of the world. Even our government just copies whatever totalitarian laws are invented in there and says "So what? Those freedom-loving westerners have it too, you can't complain".
