Bad news, everyone. This website sucks. I might stop using it.
I started this board as a way of saving and sharing pictures and videos of hot girls in dancewear, and by and large that's been successful. However, lately the site seems more volatile and less useful when it comes to content preservation. I don't think any of us want to have a bunch of our posts disappear at random, but unfortunately that's exactly what's been happening.
Now I've always been quite judicious about deleting posts that broke the rules, but that's not what I'm talking about here. Basically, admins are deleting a lot of stuff sight unseen. The worst was on 11/11/20, when all the posts by a whole IP hash were deleted, apparently taking an entire thread with it. I emailed the admins about this, and here's what I said:

> I also noticed that a bunch of the VPN servers I that use were IP banned from 8kun, so I put 2 and 2 together and I think this is what happened: Whoever got banned and had their posts globally deleted probably used the same VPN as me and/or other posters on my board, and a bunch of innocent posts were deleted in the crossfire. I don't know, that's just my current theory.

It's worth noting here that I had to change my IP to make this very post, because my VPN server was banned, of course. Anyway, they never responded to that email or any of the followups I sent them, so it would appear that 8kun's admins don't care at all. Posts have continued disappearing and there appears to be nothing that anyone can or will do about it. It's kinda discouraging posting here not knowing if or how much of what you post will vanish, so I might not continue using this board as a repository of dancewear fetish content.

I'll post a last round of posts that I've been saving up, do any janitorial work I might need to do, and then, perhaps, retire. It just doesn't feel productive to use a website with unresponsive staff and random disappearances. Oh and also I got a notice from the admins in January that this whole website might become TOR only at any point, so pucker up for that. Anyway, it's been real.
