Who else is borderline unemployable here?
>severe depression for almost a decade
>very little work experience
>haven't worked in 3-4 years
>my skills are mostly rusted away
I honestly don't know how I'm gonna find my way around this, I feel I need a miracle

I'm totally unemployable, but have a decent 6 figure job. I'm always on the edge with it, but can simulate enough Good Boy behaviors to keep them from firing me. All the same, the higher ups know I'm not really one of them. I don't care. They know I don't care. If I lose it I'll probably end up homeless, because I'm too fucking old to be a reasonable hire. So the charade continues. But basically just work on your pretending, and you too can have a soul-sucking position which provides you with enough sustenance and shelter to keep going for another week.

Solid 1.2nd world cash but my point was just about doing whatever it takes to pretend to be employable. Having no personal safety net helps - if I'm out, there's nobody to catch me.

Never work as a bouncer it's nigh impossible to get out of that kinda work, only alternatives now would be police/army but I can't stand being forced with people I dislike, the general disdain for normalfriends via seeing the worst of them doesn't help either.

I have a part-time job, but my job options aren't looking too good right now. Not only am I socially awkward and pretty asocial overall, but I've been suffering from chronic tiredness for a long, long time; it's a huge setback from working full-time. The only viable option for me right now is to learn to work from home. That way I could at least take a few hours out of each workday for naps (even if they don't help very much).

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Right now I'm looking into proofreading or something along those lines. You can definitely make money at it, but you have to really know what you're doing.
You can also find jobs doing freelance artistic stuff, but I don't know much about that.

After I got out of highschool and failed getting into a college, I looked for a job for some 6 months. I would apply to the most miserable posts for the lowest possible salaries, and yet couldn't get anything. I'm a burden to my only parent.

That's a good idea. I'd be terrible at that though since I can't even proofread my own posts here. And you probably need to know all the obscure rules of grammar and punctuation.

If you feel that you don't have any marketable skills, then you should be trying to develop some before looking for something you could do from home.
For example, you could try learning a programming language or two and marketing yourself that way. Lots of people make at least some semblance of a living that way. But it has to start with putting in the effort to develop that skill. Classic problem of putting the cart before the horse.

I might try learning a language, a spoken/written language that is, like Russian or Chinese. I think I'd be better at that than with programming and if I hone my writing skills I could combine the two. Idk, I'll do some more research.

>coasted easily through primary and middle school
>because of this, never learned a work ethic
>in highschool, suddenly everyone had caught up to me, I was just average smart. Except I never learned how to work hard so I was overtaken by the hard working students pretty fast
>no skills to speak of
>no motivation
>just give up if something is hard
>hate authority so I struggle with the "master slave" environment that is the workplace
>can't into normal waking hours, stay up till 3am most nights, wake at midday

If you don't mind them skimming your paycheck. Usually it's warehouse work here. For the first 6 months they get $4 off your $14 check. Why don't I just flip burgers then?

It doesn't matter how much you pretend if there's no one to pretend to. No one is hiring and the ones who are aren't interviewing. I think I could do awesome at an interview on the right day but I can't get any. Not even for a shitty job

Oh, btw, o have no safety net either. I've just been working one shitty job with a small business and living very poorly. I'm in a 1st world country btw. but have been looking for something else and I can't find anything. No one even responds to my resumes. I've tried to hand them in in person but can never get a manager to come out

If you are already working shitty jobs, try the laborers union. You'll start at double minimum if the unions are strong there.
