Squad just integrated the Canadian Military faction into the game as free DLC. The maps look like ass, but the faction itself is pretty nifty as the modders put in the C14 Timberwolf Sniper Rifle in as a kit.

They've switched to monthly updates and recently pushed out a roadmap, with helicopters coming in August. Anyways here's what the scopes look like.
They've kinda pissed off some of the playerbase because they did some casualized changes (no instadeath if you get headshotted, blown up, or died immediately after respawning), buddy rallies, and a 10% increased movement speed that removed your characters inertia. Personally I'm ok with buddy rallies and the change in the movement system, but the no instadeath system is retarded. Fucking battlefield has that system in.

The southern half of Livonia is borderline unplayable because of all of the fucking trees causing major framerate issues, though the Promet that was added is nicer than the bog standard MX, the AK12 is still shit because it's the same one they used since Tanoa, and the RPK is fuck-ugly and the sight makes me want to kill myself, but is still better than the AK. There's also UGVs that can stab people to death, so that's a plus. It's still better than Global Mobilization.
