Indeed it is, but this gives me hope. I'd like to believe that the holy institution cannot be permanently corrupted. There have been issues and corruption in the past, with at one point there being 3 self-proclaimed popes at once, or something of the sort. If I am to follow what has been written, it says that at the end of the world, the church will still be standing, which essentially implies that any attacks on the holy institution, whether they be from the inside or outside, will fail in the long term. Which means that the question now becomes: when do things start their return to how they should be? It's fairly explicit that sinners as people are to be tolerated, but their sinful actions are to be absolutely and sternly rebuked and they are to be sheparded back on the correct path. This document is a good start to that, and hopefully there will be more of this.
