I've decided to come out the closet. I no longer fear the repercussions or social stigma. If I cannot live MY life how I want it then I don't want to live at all.
Since I was a young child I've always felt Japanese inside. I am a Japanese person born in a white mans body. I have come out to my family this morning (which happens to be my birthday) and as I expected they are dumbfounded. My Father was especially perplexed but at the end of our talk he seemed happy that at least I wasn't homosexual.
If you are reading this thread and can relate then I want you to know that there are many more people out there like you. YOU are NOT alone. I feel that a general thread would be immensely helpful to anons who seek advice in coming out of the Transracial closet that they are trapped in and pursuing the life they really want to live.
