I have never ever thrown out a single electronic thing. I keep it all, and sometimes even collect more because I find it interesting. Maybe one day some of the stuff I have will be valuable, but I doubt it. But that doesn't mean I'll stop collecting it all. Especially if it's something older. If it's a modern PC I don't need, and I need money, then I'll consider selling it, but I probably won't sell any of my old stuff

It's not, really. But that's because my car is very good at handling bad conditions like this with stuff like AWD and torque vectoring, plus very good driver feedback to the point that if a wheel is slipping on snow or ice, I can tell which wheel is slipping just by how it feels. Now, if I was in a poorly maintained shitbox with no winter tires, it would be a different story.
Plus, knowing basic physics helps: if you hit a large patch of ice and are slipping, what do you do? Slam on the brakes? NO! You stay as smooth and pointed straight as possible, no sudden movements, and let your momentum carry you across the ice! Very smooth, non-sharp motions in general. I'm no Takumi, but at least I'm not incompetent, which seems to be the average.
