Just discovered this board and thought I post my project on here and see what you guys think about it.
The project is a visual novel that is currently in development that is primarily set in Kim Possible and Danny Phantom show universe. You play as a man fresh from high school entering his freshmen year in college at Middleton University. Life has been mundane at best and because of that he is seeking for the college dream experience. Things quickly change for the player as he meets his new roommate Ron Stoppable and a unforeseen incident with Dr Drakken's new transportation invention.

demo is being made right now. The code is done, The backgrounds are drawn, and the script is written and implemented into the game. The only thing left is the sprite art and CG's. The sprites are going to take the longest time since we are making 2 naked base versions (one facing npcs and one facing the player) As well as layers of clothing that fit each pose. The cg's should be fairly easy to make because they are stand still images.
The game will be about creating relationships with the characters from Kim Possible and Danny Phantom shows. The main story revolves around Drakkens new invention that creates a portal to the Danny Phantom's universe ghost zone.
The player will also have to deal with balancing their new life with the responsibility of college. A challenge that both show's touch on.

I didn't know dp was considered gay. I have made a patreon but I'm not charging people for the demo or on a monthly basis. It's simply there to show how much initial support my project has to attract talent. It's one of the main reasons why I got Gagala's attention.
Once the demo is released then we will start charging based on builds and then if we can produce enough content for a monthly basis then we will start doing monthly charges. A month amount of content would be at the very least half an "episode".
Each episode will span a week in-game and will have a "villain of the week" kind of structure with a over arching plot tying them together. Each episode will give the player an opportunity to progress their relationship with a character.
For those who are wondering the starting love interests will be Kim, Bonnie, and Shego.

I wanted to ask exactly what you had planed for the girls. That last part also gives me a bad vibe, you're telling me that I can't fuck all the girls at once? It sounds too ambitious, and at this point it sounds like Snow Daze, I understand the focus on the story, but I think you can pull the same thing by giving each girl an specific villain, going after said girl so you can progress the story and unlock a relationship with her, in that way you can get to the "last story" after progressing enough on each girl, you can choose what girl to skip if you want to who the fuck would do that? and having an overaching plot.
I'd say that's my personal preference, but it's not, it's simply a better the design not only for what I mentioned but because you can even focus on a single girl path if you for some reason decide not to finish the game, that way you can go all the way with a single girl and not blue ball everyone with all girls, and you can get the story to the end too.
But you're the dev, and it's ultimately your choice, if you're already so further in the demo as you claimed you are, then I guess it's too late, I hope what you choose can work. I'm trying my hardest not to bully you, anon, but you're making it really hard

The episode structure is made to create a beginning and end to updates. I don't like how some games updates are so spread out that you feel that there was no progress with anything and all you get is a few frames to fap to. It helps with story structure, pacing, and content creation so that's why I'm sticking with the episodic structure.
So think of the love interests like you would in a non-nukige dating sims. You can date one but not the other(s) unless you do series of set decisions that unlocks the harem ending. You can date Kim but not Bonnie because she will automatically lose interests in you and vice versa. Again like a dating sim the love interests have a path made to develop a relationship. A peek towards Bonnie's path would be based around her self worth and how MC could help her become more confident with being herself rather then relying on others for validation. So once you finish a characters story you can start another characters story line. If you finish multiple then maybe certain events will trigger causing fun events.
The challenge that the MC/player will have to rise up to is to balance not flunking out of college, maintaining relationships, and trying adapt to this strange world of ghost and villains; a theme that both shows touch base on.

You see, the anime was a serial of 24 episodes while the game was a Visual Novel with 10 chapters
So, let's do somes maths okay?
The anime had 24 episodes, they're all 24 minutes long right?
The game had 10 chapters (the main story+the others routes), and they all take at least 3 hours to beat
Now let's do the math:
The anime is 9 hours long
The game is 31 hours long
Now you might wonder "wtf is going on how could it be THAT MUCH longer?"
Well it's quite simple
Since the anime was bound by 24 episodes, it had to focus on the best and the most important stuff, they also had to make it feel like you're watching a actual anime, and not watching a animated version of a game (like Amagami SS did)
So they showed only what's important to the story and to the characters
Suzuha, and Kurisu being concerned about their respectives fathers
Okabe's relationship with Mayuri
Fayris concerns about Akihabara
Ruka and his concern about his sexuality
Moeka relationship with FB
And they did it perfectly
They made it so peoples who never played the games never felt like they needed to play it to really knows these characters
They showed us all we had to see, not all we could see, but only what we needed and wanted to see
They also managed to show us all that in a fast-pace without making it feel rushed
We followed Okabe as his concern toward Time-travel felt less important to him with everytimes Mayuri died
So he was in a hurry, and so were us
At least until the point when he became used to it
That was enough
If you never played the game, you'll be more than satisfied by the anime already if you only liked it fine
They focused on all the best things, the story, the characters, and they managed to adapt it for a tv-show with perfection
What could you ask more if you never played the game prior to the anime?

Well, let me tell you
First, the game wasn't bound by any-rules
It was a Visual Novel, the only rule Nitro+ had to follow was "make it a good story with interesting characters, and make the player feel like the decisions he takes changes the story"
And it's fucking Nitro+, interesting stories and amazing characters AND characters developements is their forte, they mastered that shit
So basically the difference between the game and the anime are pretty obvious
They had to cut-stuff to adapt the game into an anime
Now, keep in mind as i said above "they did it perfectly"
They only took-off the scenes pointless to the story, and of course they only showed the true-ending
So you might think "yeah but if it's useless stuff, who cares?"
Well i said it was "poinless to the story", not entirely useless
They mainly removed the scenes that added to the characters developement and their personnalities
Keep in mind again, as i said previously "they managed to keep true to the game characters"
Because they really did their best at it, and it shows, the anime version of the characters are like 95% true to their game selves
But it's still not 100%
For exemple, you remember how they showed the "debate" between Okabe and Kurisu at the Nakabachi's conference?
They showed him pointing at her, saying some dumb-stuff he pulled-out of his ass, she acted smug and asked him to keep talking to her, flash-forward Okabe is pissed and say she's a bitch
Well, in the game, you actually go through the whole fucking conference and their whole debate, and Okabe still sound kinda dumb because he's acting like a 16 years old convinced about his shit, but he's also showing his actual understanding of science, and they have a long-ass debate where Kurisu actually explain every theories related to time-travel and why they're impossibles or would be too dangerous to ever try to realize them
So if you like Kurisu, ho boy you're gonna be the happiest man on earth because there is a SHIT-TONS of Kurisu/Okabe scenes/discussions they removed in the anime
It's not important to the story, and you can still understand the characters without knowing thoses scenes, but they're still serving to let you know even better thoses characters
Making you feel like you not only get to know them better, but you feel even more interested in them, and therefore touched when something happens to them
Here's another example of pointless story-related scenes they removed, but it's one of my favorites comedic scenes from the whole game
It was in the middle of the street (Akiba), it was around when Okabe was forced to date Rukako because he needed her mothers pager
Of course Kurisu was kinda jealous so she teased Okabe for his inexperience
Of course he got pissed by the remark, so he had to tease her in return, but knowing the obnoxious fuck Okabe is, he just HAD to make his tease even worse
So they basically had a heated argument in the middle of the fucking street until Kurisu was so pissed-of she screaming something super-private in the midle of the fucking street where everyone could hear them because they were screaming at each-others like idiots
Then as always she realized her mistake, so she acted embarassed, but Okabe was so suprised by what she said it was too awkward even for him to act haughty as he would usually do
He only managed to whisper something to try to awkwardly tease her, and then they changed subjects

The game true-ending is the ending called "Paradox Meltdown (Another Heaven)" and it's Kurisu's one, so Kurisu is the one-true-waifue, just wanted to let you know that
But since it's a "True-Ending" it means you will have to trigger somes things in the game to get it
And believe me boy, it's next to impossible to actually trigger the True-Ending without knowing EXACTLY what you need to do to manage so
So my personnal advice:
Play the game as intended, have fun re-discovering this god-sent-masterpiece, do all the routes, question your sexuality a few-time because of Rukako, wonder if it was all for nothing with Fayris, get shocked by how fucking dark Suzuha's route is even compared to the rest of the game, get pathologically scared of childrens who lost their fathers, feel like you lost the most important thing in your fucking life with Mayuri
And then search on google "Stein;Gate True-Ending Walktrough"
Click on the 100% Walktrough on the Stein;Gate wikia, it's basically pictures with story-trees to details how to get every-achievements, and get the True-Ending
And when you will have finished this experience, you will wish you had a machine to erase some-stuff out of your memory to experience it all-over again

I plan on releasing a "character introduction" for Kim by the end of the year but I will give my backers first dibs on it for at least a week before posting it publicly.
All of the back end of the game is already made and the only thing left to do is sprites and CGs. The rate at which they are completed is not up to me but my artist Gagala. I can say for certain that the game will not release in the next couple of months.
There are a couple of reasons why I'm not pushing out a demo as soon as possible.
1. A lot of games use 3-4 sprites for a single character to convey everything and that has always bother me. This project is more interactive story driven then plain porn simulator. So we are creating a nice sprite catalog for each character to pick from as well as clothing layers that fit each pose the character goes in.
2. I want my demo to have a decent amount of content. A lot of projects just make a bare bone game with a few lines of dialogue that leads into a single frame sex scene. A game I would like to strive towards is Summertime Saga in regards to sprites and sex scenes.

Gagala is pretty much letting me have reings over what is drawn for each sprite. I give him reference material and he makes its. If I spot something I send it back. So far the only problem is having the sprites having consistent sizes. (nothing major)

Yea, I knew going in that he is slow at developing and he even told me so when I approached him but I feel like this kind of project works better for him. Sprites are going to be re-used quite a lot and the backgrounds are done by another artist. So in the game Kim and Ron start off in a bit of a rough patch. Ron's immaturity is starting to get on Kim's nerve because she is finding it harder to be intimate with someone who is acting like a kid all the time. Ron is dependable in a really tough situation but that doesn't mean they can love each other easily.
After Ember enter Kim's universe. Ron starts to go into his Camp Wannaweep panic attacks and is useless for the most part. Ron and Kim get into a fight with Ember at the concert. Ember hit's them both with a "break up song" attack. (same thing happens To Danny Phantom except with a love song towards Sam).
Ember leaves and Kim and Ron feel like they officially broke up. At this point the player Doesn't know what is happening to them so he takes it as if they legitimately broke up.
The player continues the game until Danny Phantom comes into Kim's universe. Where the player has the option of telling Danny what happened the night Ember had her concert. If he does then Kim and Ron get back together. If not then they stay broken up.

We know there are people who don't like how the proportions are drawn. Gagala has decided to stick to his style and I support his decision. Hey guy's so since we are all done working on Ron's sprite I will be creating another character introduction. The last one was a bit limited so I'm going to put a lot more effort into this one.
So the story will go a bit more into Kim's and Ron's current trouble. As for who you will be playing as you will choose between either Monique or Kim's cousin Larry. I also plan on trying out how the music feels in this version so feedback would be greatly appreciated when it's done. Not much of a sound mixer so don't expect it to mesh well at first. So the actual game's demo hasn't been released yet. The Kim and Ron intro were simply a prologue to the game's story. In the actual game you will be playing as an OC character.

Shego has been itching to get back to working but her villain credentials are being reviewed by the Worldwide Evil Empire (WEE). later on Shego will be blacklisted by WEE because she helped Kim saved the world. OC will have the opportunity to discover a job opportunity to work at the college as a teacher.
She will become a teacher in one of OC's classes and will be looking for some outlet for her to do some evil. (trade sex for grades, theft, etc) Shego will see potential in OC becoming evil and will mentor him. OC will have the choice to corrupt their lover into doing more kinky things like shibari, dom/sub, slave training, exhibitionism, cuckqueen, threesomes, etc. If OC doesn't have a lover than they can try to make Shego their love interest. If she becomes the love interest than the relationship will have Switch dynamic and OC will learn more about why she likes being evil.
