Here's what I mean: Beccadex herself sends out Google Drive links when she releases sets, whether through Patreon or through Storenvy or anywhere else, and in order to download from one of those Google Drive links, you have to request permission, and she gives that permission when she matches up your Google Account with whatever way you paid her for the set; if some idiot who paid for a set then shares that raw Google Drive link and a bunch of thirsty mofos start requesting permission, that's a major red flag that content got shared.
I mean sure, she might also monitor places like here and vo-la and that one subreddit named after her, but getting notifications that a bunch of cheapskates are trying to get a set that they didn't pay for is much more obvious, immediate, and undeniable.
(I don't know anyone lately who has done that, the last time I remember was an old Anon-IB thread, but there was surely some reason for her to make that post on her Patreon on the first, calling out people who share her Patron-only content.)
