For Mac and Linux, Wine is more reliable than Unity's dedicated builds. Just make sure to set it to 64-bit.

The extreme content mod unlocks all of the rape, torture, and incest that would get me banned from Patreon. Install it by placing the file in the directory with the EXE:

I posted this here back in April when it first released, and it's come a long way since then. Your feedback was well-taken, and a lot of it has made it in since then. It's got pregnancy/childbirth, a dairy, a complete graphical overhaul of the station view, faction leaders, and more other changes than I could possibly list here. The current patron build adds pathfinding to the station view, a spa, more furniture for the dairy, and a bunch of new assignments for obedient slaves (like madame, recruiter, and head girl).

Next patch is going to be the fighting pit, where slaves fight each-other, citizens, or monsters captured during events.

I got an old bug happening.

When raiding/assaulting planets, usually a hand full at a time between returning to the station, the prompt for inspecting the captured slaves doesn't come up.

This also happens regularly when demanding tribute from owned planets/stations.

It's been like that since forever and it bugs the everloving fuck out of the micromanaging autist in me when the game just randomly assigns all the slaves.

Mega is limited by your browsers memory. Firefox is capped at around 2gb. Chrome can handle much larger files. Its something to do with the way mega decrypts the files if my memory serves.

wine version is less stable in my experience. I got constant crashes/lockups when I was playing with it.

Linux version was really fucking stable. Never locked up or crashed. Only real issue I had is I think there is a memory leak. I gotta restart the game after about 2 or so hours of playing due to frame loss.

I've not noticed any real difference, and with only 1 policy you can enact that increases happiness, you can't keep colonies reproducing by rape policy on without allowing happiness go negative.

Then again, I let happiness on one planet get down to like -25 without any events/issues. So maybe it is a useless stat?

I tried modding stellaris with various AI improvments and possibilities to brutalize other races/countries in various ways (because lets face it, that's what intelligent species would do - at least us) but the fuckers keep updating and breaking every single thing I did every time I got somewhere and I just lost all interest. It's also really difficult to make your mod compatible to others. Stellaris has a cool engine and the modding capabilities are quite big, but it's hard to make something worthwhile and I didn't feel invested enough to just do it for myself.

It has to do with your tourist count being above your max amount of tourists. If you click on your slaves/menu items and look at the amount of tourists, they will go down until they reach your tourist max - then, everything becomes clickable again.

Also, another bug I noticed that is unrelated but still pretty fucking funny is that every time I come back from the galaxy map (I think after a conquest) some of the people walking around on my station will be beneath my station, walking vertically upwards until they reach the spot they were supposed to be in, at which point they return to normal.

@dev: noice progress with the models and memory leaks since 19, id call 23 almost playable but the ui is still unstructured hodgepodge so here are few quick suggestions

- left/notifications panel, either make it transparent or actually use the space for something useful eg. tabs with reseach/hangar/economic report

- footer/info thingie, either popup full log on click or dedicate it exclusively to stuff not directly relating to your holdings ie. bar revenue down type flavour messages

– slave training completed etc (basically anything that would warrant some interactiion and could be made clickable) should be moved to notifications

- slave model/scene view camera bounds, optionally allow to temporarily get out of bounding ranges - ie. can pitch to upskirt when holding mouse but will reset to bounding max when let go, and make sure whole model fits on screen when switching models (eg. to next slave with different height)

– or at the absolute very least, reset camera keybind (and optionally ui button)

- redesign vertical industry ui (current model is cool in theory but brings nothing but frustration in practice) eg. a scene with a simple wire mesh model of the station (full rotation, zoom bound to range, offset fixed) on which you can add those type of structures to mountpoints completely independent of main simulation scene

– move hangar/ship buying, spaceport/portal and most if not all of economy screen to this new industry scene, so have 3 scenes with simulation going (galaxy map, industry/station overview and main 'living floor')

– also some explaination/reports what your industry actually does would be nice

- store volume setting in global storage ffs, or lazy mode - keep in save but preload/initialize that before new game/continue scene track blows eardrums, or yet even lazier mode - disable music on new game scene (bonus style points for leaving arcade era inventions behind)

- dynamically resize list max display count to fully utilize vertical screen space regardles of resolution

- close button location consistency - most popups/screens have it in bottom right but few in upper right

- events - alternative to current direction: mouseover tooltip on slave name (or model?) that will show its basic info in condensed form (devoted status, job, age, sex, virginity, time on station), tooltips with outcome explainations on choice buttons

- way to reinitialize stats display in slave view after interaction without doing next->previous (eg. on model click or ui button)

This is the… 4th time I've tried to play this. From bugs, to characters going bald to interface that locks up occasionally to the point where I have to restart.

I dunno what it is about this game but I've never been able to get into it. Maybe with Free Cities it's easier to manage individual slaves, send them off to training and shit but here, it's way too complicated.
