No, not really. He edited one of those "Kinky Cuties" stickers to add some cum to it, but it was so lazy, most people don't consider it a true update.
He's probably not going to return to JG, unless there is good financial incentive for him to do so. Dude was getting tired of all the shit that came with it. Reiq knew about most of the threads/forums that leaked his stuff, and he was infuriated it would sometimes be leaked in less than an hour after he posted it. A lot of people would critique his work, but some just bitched nonstop - one guy on r/Reiq would just shit on every new release. He got some complaints about the LoL Diana pic, and when he pretty graciously did another one, somebody seemed to make multiple sockpuppet accounts criticizing it. Years ago, for months he did nothing but post OC characters, out of petty spite for people leaking his work - what the hell's the point of signing up when you can't even request characters?
Look at Reiq's income/subscribers on Graphtreon. Income from that steadily increased in 2016 and peaked towards the end of the year, when he essentially stopped all updates. It increased a little in 2017, then returned to around where it was at the beginning of the year. He's probably dodging the JG question to keep people's hopes up, and try to maintain his subscriber base. I think I remember someone over at 420chan mentioning that he PM'ed Reiq, and he mentioned the possibility of starting it up again, but I would take that with a grain of salt.
I understand it was just too toxic for him, but I lost a lot of respect for Reiq after he stopped caring about updating regularly - after a month of no updates in early 2016, I remember him posting some picture in Instagram with a caption along the lines of - "sometimes I have to work, other times I don't, lol".
