This board is looking angery lately, so I'll be the change i want and declare the first comfy thread on /girltalk/.
Imagine a room full of fluffy pillows and incense smoke.
Now tell me about tea.
>do you drink it?
>how often?
>what's your favorite taste?
>what's the best hour to have it and why is it 5pm?
>do you eat cookies or pastries with it?
And most importantly:
>why is milk so much better than lemon in black tea?

Our jimmies are rustled. What can I say.
I only drink tea after heavy meals, or when I am sick. My sis tho, she drinks it everytime. She also drinks tea on breakfast.

Coffee is like a punch to your stomach anon.
I can barely stand the smell somedays, without having to run to the bathroom.
Apparently the smell alone is enough for some people to trigger the runny bowels.

I'm drinking it before working out, so i can get hydrated and get some extra energy.
I have this box of fancy tastes like strawberry cupcake and blueberry muffins, i definitely recommend it! It's from Lipton and it's kinda cheap too.

When you quit coffee, and bring your tea usage down to a cup a day you will actually notice the difference and get an energy boost.
Tea has a different caffeine release than coffee, which is more slow and long, so it's more reliable for working out since it doesn't give as much tachycardia, especially for cardio or running.
Just drink it an hour ahead of time, drinking it just before cardio will have you feel like your stomach is a water filled balloon that jiggles around inside of you. It's…uncomfortable.

Ok turns out there was a study made on 130 asian women to check the correlation to breast cancer.
The short version of it is: it might decrease testosterone and estrogens alike, but the study was made on a sample drinking green tea as 5% of their whole diet.
That's a lot of tea.

Eating trash food does more harm to your hormones than what a healthy drink like tea can.

I like all sorts of teas and try to keep it varied, but my fallbacks are definitely earl grey (milk and sugar), ginger (with honey), or peppermint (usually plain, or with a little honey). I enjoy teas with my meals (especially sandwiches), but I do love some chamomile cookies every now and then.
Speaking of cookies- anybody got good recipes? I'm working my way through a large batch of chamomile cookie batter that I made and froze a few weeks ago, but I'm eager for new recipes.

I was recently reading about mushroom (the fun kind) tea and they were suggesting to steep tea leaves in it in order to remove the obnoxious drawbacks of psylocybin and psylocin, namely the belly ache.
They were suggesting peppermint, ginger, chamomile and green tea.
You seem like an expert on the matter, which ones do you think will mix well with lemon juice in particular (required to extract psylocin in the first place)?

Agreed.
If anything i can never truly dose honey like i want, unless it's 9 months old and cristallized.
I went to this store in NY where you could take a whiff of dozen kinds of tea and have samples of different honey kinds, and even there they gave you bottles with honey + water for better dosage.

Cold water for the morning is much more refreshing and invigorating than any other drink.
The people I work with drink tea all the time. I don't understand it because tea tastes awful. This is coming from someone who lives in the UK.
