Don't feel bad. I say not to spend $100 on a fumo because I bought a $100 Yuyuko when I first started to collect fumos, traded her for a Remi which I came to find out was a fake. I later lost that Remilia. I have many regrets too.

My first two fumos (Patchouli and Kaguya) cost £128, so I wouldn't worry about not knowing what you're doing. This sort of thing comes with experience and knowing when a good deal appears.

I spent $80-90 on the doll alone for an unopened original outfit Remi a couple years ago. Went the extra mile to get it as a gift to my friend (since she's his waifu).
Right now I've got the newer outfit Remi and Flan on preorder from AmiAmi for ~3300yen each.
