日本大使馆发声明称，中国外交部对外发布的“石破茂首相尊重中方阐述的立场”消息不实
3月21日，中国外交部长王毅拜会石破茂首相，中国外交部当天对外发布的消息中介绍，石破茂首相“尊重中方阐述的立场”，但其内容不符事实。
中方发布了该消息后，日方已向中方提出抗议和交涉，并要求中方立即删除与事实不符的这一表述。日方对中方发布了不符事实的内容表示遗憾。
在此次王毅部长的拜会中，石破茂首相具体提出了东海局势、在华日本人的安心安全、早日释放被拘押日本人、取消对日本水产品的进口限制、恢复进口牛肉等农产品问题等，还强调需要减少这些悬而未决问题和课题。石破茂首相并没有表示“尊重中方阐述的立场”，中方发布的内容完全不属实。
