I've taken may savings in fiat and dumped it for things of REAL VALUE… rural property & homestead, some livestock, guns/ammo/cleaning kits, food storage, big 50gal jugs for rain water collection, 5gal jugs for water storage & tons of water filters & purification drops, toilet paper/tissue/paper towels stacked in bulk, clorox wipes, tools & equip, trucks + spare parts, solar panels w/ inverters, generators, gardening supplies, hunting supplies, butchery supplies, entry point fortification for all windows & doors, DVDs & CDs, extra computers w/ tons of spare parts, extra TVs and well, already have multiple offline backups of all my favorite music, movies, tv shows, pdf books, etc. If I needed to I could survive a nuclear fallout and not really have any issue other than rationing my solar power.
PS: if you have physical gold and/or silver, wait till it starts going up real fast and then immediately cash it all in, double or triple your profits, take the cash and immediately liquidate it all into hard assets and property. That time will be sooner than you think. ;)
