I used to live in Portland, OR, for many years, and still have family there. Haven't lived there in more than two decades, but have visited often enough to watch it slide into an even deeper leftard shithole than it was beginning to become when I lived there.
Let me tell you about some of my more character-shaping moments, shall we say…
I don't like Labor Unions. My experience with them has been less than wonderful, to say the least. And say the least I will. I've decided that you don't need to hear any details, but you can hear my opinions, and I assure you they are based upon experience.Labor Unions Are Mob Rules.
Labor Unions work the same way the Democratic Party works; by promising poor slaves who have no voice that they'll advocate for them with the house massahs; when in reality they are just there to gain more power and control, like the Uncle Toms it is in their nature to be. They have never been there for the common man or woman, and they aren't ever gonna be there for anybody who thinks there are more than two genders either! That's not what they are set up for – being there for you. Nope, like the Democratic Party, they make promises to be there for you; but it is all about big bureaucracy, power, money, control, politics, using the mob that they control to punish anyone they choose… ever tightening their grip on power, and stomping out all competition, even when it comes to better ideas.
The stories I could tell… The blood I have shed… The messages delivered loud and clear, in many places, for many reasons…
But no, some of those stories, while sensational, dramatic and outrageous, and definitely more likely to garner sympathy, showing the outright evil of these people and their tactics… well, I've lived a long life, and those stories just aren't as apropos right now. Instead, I'll just tell you about a short period of time when I was often having run-ins with the Teacher's Union in Portland, OR over the issue of School Choice. I see that is a hot topic nationwide again suddenly, but it has always been a hot topic for me, andit damn sure is a hot topic for Teacher's Unions!Maybe you should ask yourself Why? Anyway, I was working, for a short time, for the Libertarian Party, gathering signatures every day for School Choice in Pioneer Courthouse Square in Portland, OR and yes, as a white man, I often used to like to take long walks in da hood late at night too! Anywho, things went exactly as you might expect. I got my ass beat every day by Public School Teachers, who were sent in by the Teacher's Union to do just that; and to intimidate me, and anyone who might try to sign my petition. Of course, the wimpy folk in Portland, being easily intimidated, also made it difficult for me to get signatures, but these bullies did not intimidate me, and I redoubled my efforts. Bottom LineWe Got School Choice On the Ballot in Oregon That Year.
But yeah, Public Schools have been failing our students for decades, just as have Democrat-run cities. They have all turned into leftard shitholes, schools and cities alikeand many people, and especially parents are not going to take any more of it.
It will be difficult for me, to go back to home schooling. Not gonna lie. Teenagers have never been very into learning personal responsibility and self-discipline. Much easier to have structure provided, line up and obey, get indoctrinated rather than educated. But home schooling for me will be a breeze compared to the hardships some parents will face – but face it many will have to.
Many parents in America are finally waking up to the only logical conclusion:
Public Education Is No Longer a Viable Option for Our Children's Education.
Watch Governor Kate Brown of Oregon kowtow to the Teacher's Unions and outlaw even digital learning from Charter Schools in Oregon now! And watch the pathetic mayor of Portland try to say that the presence of people wearing uniforms gave the rioters no choice but to chimp-out! These kind of people use mobs and violence to get their way. These kind of people say they want to defund the police, but once in power there will be nothing but secret police running around everywhere, just like China, just like everywhere that their ideas have been allowed to foster. If Biden wins the Presidency, he has already said he is comning for your guns.And many will bend the knee.I Will Not. I never have. They can outshout me.
