So i've been working out for almost a year and been taking it seriously for 3 months now.

I'm not overweight (178cm, 78kg) and although I get winded rather quick, i'm not terribly out of shape (still working on that).

Here's the problem:

Everytime I work out I am simply soaked in sweat. To a degree where I'm literally dripping.

Even riding my bike for 10 minutes has this effect. I'm not out of breath, but I'm fucking soaked.

This applies to normal life as well. I can walk in the snow barefoot, but a bit of sun makes me sweat uncontrollably.

What the fuck. I live in northern Germany and I don't want to change my shirt 3 times a day in the summer.

/fit/ pls help.

>Inb4 wear deodorant

I do. Should I rub it in my hair or what?!

Cardio. More water and maybe salt.

I used to have the exact same problem. Solved it by doing 2 cardios/day for two weeks + controled ingestion of salt and water, it really just exterminated the problem and now i sweat just like a regular human being.

I'm in the same boat, as you buddy, and it has been like this my whole life, from childhood. I've tried lots of different body fat %, lots of different training approaches, intensities, diets and stuff, but nothing seems to help. I was still sweating like crazy, after a summer playing in a semi-pro football team, playing 90 min games regularly.

Only time that I feel comfortable is when it's like -10°C and I'm wearing some light jacket or I'm playing ice hockey in a tshirt. I guess it's just how it is supposed to be for the people up in the northern hemisphere.

Up side is that I can easily walk around in shorts when it's close to 10°C outside. I don't even feel cold when others are freezing.

I have the same problem. If you can get your hands on some clonidine, that would help. It suppresses the activity of sweat glands (but also lowers blood pressure and heart rate, so there’s a balance).

Come from similar stock to you, because I can only stand it when it’s around 10-15C anymore than that and I sweat all day.

Maybe ask your doctor for something to help you sweat less, you could mention someone told you clonidine was good for that.

2 Cardios a day sounds rough but I'll try it.

Good to know there are at least some other people with the same problem… if nothing works, I'll just always carry a big jug of water and a new shirt with me.

If the whole climate change stuff turns out true though, we'll be in for one heck of a time!
