When I think about it, my parents, grandparents, cousins, etc., all pretty much have family units where the woman/mother runs the show. For example my mom makes more than my dad, has more friends, makes all the decisions, etc.,. And growing up, and especially in high school I typically had girl bullies, but also girls that stood up for me.
