What would bring a person to use these sites over f-list? Personally I just want a version of f-chat with furries, lolis, and shotas banned. What keeps me around is the number of users, the tools available in chat, and the freedom to play and explore whatever you want free of consequence. I dunno. F-list is just too overwhelming to get started on for me. You need to setup a character to an autistic degree, with literally hundreds of fetishes, not to mention a description of the character themselves. Then, you have to go into the lferp chat and pray to god you get noticed over the billion other posters, or hop around public chatroom for your fetishes, but those tend to be pretty niche and prone to cliques, if not total wastelands themselves. Then, even if you find a group who is willing g to accept new people, you get to deal with shit-flinging drama because Sasuke the Sparkledog sucked Angela's Futacock for a few words longer than Jamal's.
I just wanna have a decent textfuck and be done with it, christ.

Setting up every single kink you could possibly think about wanting to play with is actually counter productive in many cases, cause there are many plebs who search for partners via their favorite kinks, don't even read your profile and just come at you expecting the perfect partner for them. The amount of people I had to tell off because they regard "Heavy Bondage" as starting at anything above being handcuffed is enormous. Customs are your friend. Choose 3-5 kinks, make customs about them. Ad stuff you absolutely can't stand in your "no" list. You'll be fine. More than anything, when I look for a sub, I pay more attention to whether they have customs for the kinks I care most about than anything else. Of course, there are also those autists with 100s of them. Fuck those guys.
