I've been having a lot of fun in Guild Wars 2 lately.
The way servers work seems to mean that even if the game is dead you can just guest to Tarnished Coast and hang around Divinity's Reach to easily find people.
The thing that sucks is the 200 character limit makes chopping up your post a pain in the ass.

I know Second Life is not really a "game" or an MMO, per say, but I figured i could ask here anyway since the /sl/ board on 8kun is pretty much dead and ruined.

It's been a couple weeks since I hopped onto my alt, but yes, most of the RP was focused in The Valley of Honor. I had some previous success in Silvermoon, as you can guess it was mostly belfs though.
The nice thing about TRP is the map scan (and I think the neutered version played a role in hurting the Classic scene), and that it works even if you're on a trial account.
