In my experience, that's a lot of relationships. People see what they want to see. You think you're just good friends with someone and they see you as a bloodbrother that would drop everything to run to their rescue. You think you're in a non-serious relationship with someone, they think you are the person they will marry and stay with for eternity.
And then there's f-list.. You think you're just RPing and fooling around on a lewd site, and they think they've made some deeply personal connection with another human being who will always be there to coddle them and see them through the good times and the bad. I've even run across this shit on a few casual discord servers. I'm just there to shitpost and talk vidya and several other guys see the server as their one true community, a home away from the real world, a place where they belong. Makes me want to get the fuck out twice as fast.

This post is a serious red flag for you. If you approach a pink with 'gay' listed clearly on their profile as a bluename, and then have the audacity to get upset when they tell you they're not interested, it probably means you're a massive sperg and the reason why many people with bi-fem pref wholeheartedly avoid most males. Even if they have some genuine sexual interest in them.
As a side note, you don't get to determine exactly how much someone with 'bi-fem' or 'bi-male' pref is into their non-preferred gender. Sometimes it means that the character will only play with rare males/females that they approach first, sometimes it means they just have a slight preference towards one or the other. Most profiles who have those prefs have a clarification somewhere on their profile, and those who don't, you can just, like - ask them for clarity, instead of seething when someone with 'bi-fem pref' marked on their profile doesn't want to play with a specific blue.
