My most popular character is actually a straight male, so it's definitely not impossible to get partners if you play as one. I know it's very appealing to scream discrimination at the start because it seems like nobody's interested in you but if you stick to it, improve your writing, develop your characters and get a handful of neat reference pics you should be all set, my dude.

I wouldn't put a picture of your character as the icon. It honestly looks tacky and doesn't set you apart from the other WoW players in F-List. If you have the money you could commission some art with your OC.

Don't start your profile with "Before you stands/stood…" it's a massive red-flag in many people's eyes. Instead try and first make a couple or so paragraphs talking about his backstory, going into detail about his emotions, actions and adventures throughout.

Add descriptions to your custom kinks, or at least 80% of them.

And look for some ref pics for your gallery, if you aren't having any luck finding them you should commission an artist you like to make you some, beware though, art owners are sometimes seen as snobs, but the majority of people won't care.

If he were a member of the Scarlet Crusade then sure, he should hate the undead with the blazing passion of a billion suns, but if he were a paladin of say, the Argent Dawn, or Crusade, there's no reason he should not simply just dislike the undead since there are members of the Forsaken among the Argent Dawn members.

Of course WoW has done a somewhat fair job of making a clear distinction between the simple undead, the Forsaken and the Scourge.

I had a moderate amount of success with a straight male. I recommend going for the approach of making your character have something memorable. Some people call it a gimmick, others say it's a character trait, whatever. Just give something people will really remember. Whether it's tragedy, a noticeable deformity, a particular talent, an outlandish hobby or setting, whatever. Find something really memorable and emphasize it. Make people remember your character and they'll be much more likely to hit bookmark and come back for a chat.

Don’t self insert, and don’t try to do the right thing all the time, even if your character is captain justice. Play up faults, particularly dangerous ones if you want to get the hot bitches. Expect the really hot bitches to want holy spankings from Paladaddy.

Only share bits of his history that tell your partner something about how the interaction could go. Most of it is best kept in your head/written somewhere. Some people will suggest avoiding history completely other than a quick blurb. That is the way the wind is blowing, so be careful about overdoing it with dry details.

Do custom kinks. Some people love them to be very descriptive, others just enough to get some of your flavour. Consider using them as a way to give addition hints about your character.

I don’t personally care about character art, but I’d avoid using in game models. Look up /tg/ booru for a starting place. Real niggas don’t care about custom art, but if you’re invested in your character there’s nothing wrong with feeding a hungry artist.

I’d imagine he would have a hate boner for undead, but he’s your dude, dude. I’d ask the question, “how much does he know about forsaken compared to undead?”, because it could be next to nothing. Well that's mistake number one. Never put that in a profile. Leave number details like height and weight for the info tab. As a general rule of thumb, it's kind of bad to put that sort of detail in writing. It's not really creative because without a reference, a person can't just know how tall five foot ten is. Comparisons are your friend.

Second, you're being awfully vague about his backstory. I don't know anything about WoW, but even if those are common lore points that everyone who plays WoW should know, they don't know how your character in particular experienced it. You should go into more depth about his backstory.

Also add an inline. It's a meme, but it can add a lot to a profile's aesthetic with little work.

If you're not a femboy who is willing to take dick, you're not gonna get much play.

Honestly, that sort of male sees more play than any submissive male in my experience. People want dominant, muscular males typically because most people are shitters who are just looking for a quick fap/schlick (Let's be real; it's fap most of the time). The qualities you'll want to play up are raw strength, some questionably intimidating tones of dubious consent, big cock, and "I take what I want" ness. The trouble is, if that all is not *immediately* obvious from the tone of your writing and/or your pictures/avatar then you're gonna get panned a lot of the time.

It's half meme and half true. There are a lot of shit blues, but there are a lot of straight blues who are getting so much play that their schedules are full.

This is, what I have found from pinks looking for dominate blues what they mean by dominate. They don't, on the whole, want some blue profile to come up and hate rape their pink, they want a blue who is confident, sure, and most of all, knows what they want and how to get there. You;d be amazed at how many people will follow someone if that person seems to know what they are doing/where they are going.

As a male leaning femanon I generally seek out blue names for my roleplay partners and I know plenty of others who do as well. It's pretty much a meme at this point. Some of my favourite partners are straight blue names and they have quite a bit of a following. It's more about the skill level of the player and the amount of effort put into the writing and profile. I myself am not interested in some hyper dicked, super dominant blue name who is just the "generic hero". F-list, and any other roleplay platform, has enough of that to last anyone a lifetime.

I like straight blues who are willing to take dick.

I've played exclusively straight blues for… probably going on eleven years now. I started doing this shit way too young. In my experience if you can write worth a damn, you dredge up some halfway decent pictures of your character, and you fill the right ecological niche within your particular roleplaying community, you'll be drowning in roleplay. I mean that literally, you'll have so many partners that you get burned out and lose interest because juggling all the various plotlines is way too tedious.

MAKE A CHARACTER PEOPLE WANT TO FUCK.

Give them some form of sex appeal. If you can't figure out why someone would want to fuck or get fucked by this character, scrap it.

Be a sexually interesting male. Whether that means you are a negro, ezio auditore, a straight shota knight, you are going to have very very little interest if you are generic 20-30 something fantasy protagonist male. If you play up the father-figure then you get appeal there but nobody has any interest in stock standard bog fantasy male protagonist. You know the type, the guy's wow profile of a paladin is exactly what I mean. Sorry to be a cunt but that's just how it is. Girls want to be fucked by Jaime Lannister not some random standard Stark/North knight. Same with stock standard anime male protagonist.
