Is there any interest in ERPing in a fantasy setting?
I have three scenarios I'd like to gauge interest for. I'm primarily looking for humans, but orcs, half-orcs, elves, or others could be fun.
First scenario:
>an elven adventurer is out in the world beyond her people's borders for the first time and meets a band of non-elven adventurers who want her to tag along. before long she suspects they may be elf fetishists, but can't stop from wanting to see why younger races fetishize her people.
Second scenario:
>a young and buxom dwarven lady receives permission from her father to visit a human city and learns why dwarf men usually keep their women hidden. this is primarily for people into shortstacks.
Third scenario:
>based in the Game of Thrones universe, a young lady has been raised to nobility by marrying an old nobleman but he dies before the marriage is consummated. knowing she has to have a baby to pass off as his she sets out to get knocked up to secure the inheritance.
Granted they're all rough outlines but if anyone is interested I'd like to talk more about it.

I'm actually relatively new to canon play (this is my first canon character), and my main reasons for not doing anything outside of it right now are that:
1. I already have a bunch of scenes planned that I still need to do, and don't want to add more to that list by multiplying my number of potential partners. That sounds counterproductive, but I'm
2. In my experience, a lot of people on F-List (and I'm not necessarily accusing people on /erp/ of the same) tend to be very lazy when it comes to planning (like happens on all of my other non-canon profiles when I approach). This means that if I approach or get an approach, I'm going to be doing a lot of work figuring out how to make a scene work, unless it' just a quick fucking scene, which I have other characters for. With a body of canon that's understood well by a small group, it often makes it easier to hash out ideas because everyone roughly knows what to expect, while the lore is still vague enough that it's easily adjusted to match whatever is needed from the scene. There's a certain flexibility and ease of setup there that playing outside of it lacks, because people who don't know much about Touhou lack that foreknowledge.
3. I have plenty of other non-canon profiles for doing other types of scenes for when the mood strikes me. Touhou is a specific mood all its own, and comes with its own 'feeling' (in this case, a an Eastern fantasy setting with clearly defined rules, reasons for different characters to interact, potential backdrops and events to plan around, and potential for conflict and development). None of my other characters would fit right, so I put together a profile for one that would.
I'm not opposed to the idea of crossovers or anything. Quite the opposite really; I'd happily play with anyone who approached me if they looked like a fun, interesting partner. I just stick to playing the Touhou with other Touhous because it's easier for me right now, and I don't have much free time to ERP to begin with. If that changed, I'd definitely broaden my pool of potential partners.
I hope this explains my thought process here a bit better.
It's for mostly convenience's sake.

Although as an addendum, the one downside is the lack of manly men. Most bluenames tend to just be genderbent Touhou characters, which isn't bad, but means that big beefy dickmen are at a premium.

Adventure Time
I play one of the more universally popular characters which makes for no shortage in partners when it comes to just smutting away and, mind you, I am NOT complaining. Hella nice to have options the moment the green light comes on.
The issue arises when I've actually grown to love the canon to a fundamental level given how much depth, for better or for worse, the story has developed later on. A certain pink character would end up making a marvelous dynamic I want to try, but sadly most proficient ones aren't interested in the character and the active ones aren't terribly familiar with the arcs where shit picks up.
I am 100% admitting to wanting to write glorified fan fiction with someone.
Also there's a lot of lesser known cuties in the series that go completely ignored on the site because of the seeming/strange absence of fan presence.

Sorry to hear your options are so sparse. It's always a shame when you can't find people with the same level of passion about something as you, and it limits your options. Have you considered getting any good or reliable partners you have outside of it into the series? I've had success there before, albeit rarely.

I've actually cultivated a large enough following where I'm starting to consider throwing up a stream to the series in my status so we can watch together. I'm hoping it revitalizes the fandom and I've a few close friends who I know can write that want to at least watch the series to its completion.
