I love it but as a big fan of nonpenetrative and other things besides just mating, playing a feral is made fucking boring by your partners. Basically animals like dogs and felines should be played instinct driven and be mostly reactionary.
They can't talk or discern speech, but they for sure can read body language or understand the tone of a person's speech.
