Unable to properly get another play off the ground that wasn't a simply pump-and-dump, erratically jumping to-n'-fro' to some random piece of shit that you just know can be manipulated so easily into giving you the fix you need before telling them to fuck off. Every new profile you tried to make attempting to recapture the feel of the old one tainted in one way or another by a lewdness that would of made you think that person is way too deep into the smut if you saw them all those years ago.

I don't maintain a hub anymore either; I've found it just works better for me if even my regular partners can't constantly track me from character to character. What you really ought to do is go to the profile thread and message people you like–maybe one of them will be me, or maybe you'll save someone else who was about to delete a character due to lack of interest. Notes don't cost anything to send, either way.

As a chronic profile maker/deleter, here's what happens for me.

The amount of time I have to do anything in my life is limited to a few hours a day. And I go through a cycle of getting really horny and wanting to vent it through erotic literature, so I make a profile that I think will be fun and go advertise.

The problem is I actually don't like ERPing that much, I think I just love the idea of ERPing. It's customizing your smut, which is amazing, but it just isn't practical. An ERP takes three hours minimum for a basic scene, and it's not something you can just do in the background while you watch a tv show (or at least I can't). So when it comes time to roleplay, I'll do a scene, realize how much time I wasted, and then flake on continuing it.

I'll log on every day only to get bombarded by everyone I've given a smile to, whether I like them or not, and then I'll just stop logging on. After a couple months of letting the profile sit there, I'll delete it.

Then, a month later, I'll get really horny again and make a new character, and go through it all again.

But that's just me. I've made about 10 distinct characters on here over the last two years, and advertised them all on here with a shitload of success.

That said, I've probably only done a few dozen ERPs total, and the couple of long term stories that I've done I got anxious when it turned from story to smut and deleted.

I'm a horrible person, though, so oh well.

When I delete my next profile, and I will, should I tell the people that I like that I like them? Should I tell the people who have contacted me before that I already know them?

You sound kind of anxious in general, anon. Try your best at holding down a single player you really like and do your best to fulfill your undertakings. No advertising, no nothing - just start talking to likely and skilled people. Advertising often puts you in an non-conductive state of mind.

Looking at my friends list and realizing my character's been around almost two years get me asking where the time went and what a shame it was so many good people deleted.

I've been writing on and off as Felicia Hardy / Black Cat from Marvel comics.

I've had profiles for her on dozens of websites, done various versions of her from long-term clean play with just a hint of romance to quick scenes where she's caught and bent over a desk for a few minutes.

Anyway, for a period of about a year and a half I had one Spider-Man player I'd write with constantly. All sorts of plots and different things and we'd change things up and include villains or other heroes, but the focus was always on Spider-Man / Black Cat.

Real life just eventually took us apart. We live in different parts of the world and we stopped having time to pop online at the same time.

I've tried moving on to other Marvel canons or Spider-Man characters on a number of sites but most are awful. The majority I've found are either bad and full of themselves or half decent but only doing it to try and jump on a heroine's tits.

There's only really two or so things I miss. I miss some of the old people who help me get my start. One was a cute little suby suby catgirl. First person to bother doing a scene in a room. Problem is that later I found out that they are that chronically shy type sub. Which is fine. And that well they aren't the best of writers. Where as I started off as a scrub, but eventually got better. (Semi para stuff, while I moved up.) They are still around but well. After a year or two people change and I'm not the same person I was.

Similarly the small handful of rps that died because the interest faded. Or I failed to keep them entertained because I was still new and learning their interest faded first.

It would be quite unlikely. By fallen off the face of the earth, both (separate people) stopped logging into f-list since then. But the profiles are still up. (Both have last online enabled as well.) One, we had gotten to chatting and RPing on discord. But as far as I know, neither use this board. Just the whole discord then quiet thing makes me wonder if that person died.

I usually try to find someone's alts if I like his characters. Searching for similar customs is a pretty easy way to do so. That way I know who to message in case the character I like disappears

They were all the same player.

We started out with a great Fire Emblem based roleplay through notes. It was really hot while it lasted. They deleted the character after a while.

Then they came back as Alumina, and we did a more generic fantasy RP. It lasted nearly a year if memory serves, and then they poofed once more.

Their most recent return was only for a few weeks.

I know they told me a while back that the reason they deleted their first character was because of some kind of stalker. But after three I've started to wonder if it isn't me. I don't think so though since they never had any complaints before.

I know of one person who got caught because they tried to argue their way out of what they thought was an unfair temporary ban, instead of using it as a cooldown period and being patient. They didn't even try to hide who they were. So a temp ban became a ban for ban evasion.

Another person came back months after a ban with a profile that had similar kinks, and perhaps more importantly, went right back to the same pattern that got them banned in the first place. Including holding grudges and picking fights with the same people. Then were shocked they got hit with a ban for ban evasion. Well duh…

There was a friend I did stuff a while ago, and they are responsible for a number of my kinks that I'm into. They weren't the greatest RPer, but they would always be willing to do something and experiment with me which was always fun. Found a profile a while back called A Dreadful Dungeon while lurking F-List (Since I don't have a profile anymore) and it seemed like a dream reading through it. A DM that does a sexy RPG dungeon chocked full of fun creatures including Bloatflies, though I think he just stole the name because ref image didn't match (Still fun though), then I got to the bottom of the profile and found males in No.

I was really disappointed at first because it was the classic case of "Perfect profile with your gender in No" but there was an echoing thought in my head that I should just man up and play a woman. Had a partner I was in the middle of an awesome tomboy impreg/feminization longterm play with tell me they were probably gonna end up homeless soon. Months later, they log in maybe once every other month, and haven't responded to any of my notes.

I'll keep sending them anyway. I think it would be nice to know someone remembers you exist in that situation.
