Been there and I'm Egyptian married to an American. Our Egyptian safari guide encouraged my kids to fill their pockets with round sand dollar looking things. They were all over the place. My husband and I insisted they not do that. The only other people around were egyptian school field trips. I kid you not they had plastic bags full.
