Real question: Why are virtually all cartoon diapers depicted as cloth? Is it because of Xers and Boomers being on the animation team? Most kids today (and even some of today's parents) have never even seen a cloth diaper.

I think its because, one, it allows for a more cartoonish exaggeration effect with the safety pin, and two, it helps differentiate them from looking like tighty whiteys with a tape on it like >>1423
Here is a bunch of different styles, all from Butch Hartman cartoons. He's done a lot of diaper/age regression scenes though sadly very few with his girl characters (I mean Vicky was fucking asking for it!).

While it isnt a cartoon I, saw this as a child and it changed my life.
I never watched the show regularly and saw only this one episode but boy howdy did it make me have weird little boy feelings.
