So what is the deal with the new goodnites? Will they stop making the camo style ones now? or are the new space designs just in addition to the existing camo style? As much as I like space stuff, I like the camo too, it feels a bit more like "Im a kid, but Im trying to not look like it" (you know, because camo -> army -> tough) than space theme, which too me feels like "Im a kid, and I'm not really thinking about if I look like a kid or not"

Iv also heard that the new ones have issues with the sides ripping out, but I have also heard that it was just a bad first batch and that others are just fine.

Also, whats the closest thing to a goodnite you can get in adult sizes? Im trying to lose weight (for reasons other than wearing goodnites of course) and while I hope to be able to wear them without them getting torn apart over time, I have a rather thick, sturdy build around my legs, so Im concerned that even if I drop my weight a bit more, it still wont be enough. Is there some other pullup that is a bit bigger but fits the same way? Like that doesn't have the "granny panty" kind of sides on it? Preferably something that has some kind of design on it, but not a baby-ish design (although I realize that this is a longshot)

If you have not tried the megamax, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend. I got the blue ones and I LOVE them. Literally the only thing I would change is to give them velcro tapes, but even without that, they are still fantastic. I know all diapers say they have "super sticky tapes that can be refastened 23847 times and not lose any stick" but these things are really quite good. If you don't untape them on purpose, they simply are not going anywhere. Even if you untape them and retape them, they still are not going anywhere 97% of the time. On the third re-application, you might want to consider re-enforcing it with some ducttape or something, but only if you really feel like you need it because of high activity or something. The absorbancy on these things is spectacular. The wicking is great. They fit my body in a way I don't think any other diaper has before.

These are truly the next level up from what I was wearing before. What were my "good diapers" that I reserved for occasions where I would have plenty of time to wear them uninterrupted are now my "throw away" diapers that I use on impulse and dont get as much out of them. Megamax's are the new top tier for me.

So are Magnificos off the market? Cant seem to get then at all in the UK. Sad because they were my favourite diapers, and the abu hook and loops are a little too small and the Barnyards too hard to get.

How do I stop feeling guilty about diapers? I'm going to be getting a chance to wear soon, and while I'm conflicted on whether I should spent the money to get it here on time, I want to be able to enjoy it. The first time I wore I was loving it and ended up wetting and messing but as soon as I came I got hit hard by post-nut clarity and threw the rest of my pack away. I know, I regret it now, but I want to make the most of the time I'm going to be getting next month. The only problem is I have things to do during the week and I doubt Abena M4s can easily be hidden.

So I know that a lot of people in the community have been asking for a goodnite style diaper made for adults, and as far as I know the general consensus is that there currently isn't one. I also know that someone has mentioned that there is actually a reason for this, and that there is an explanation of why it has not yet been done or is more difficult than it would at first appear to be.Like, its more than just the difference between child proportions and adult proportions or something.

Could somebody either explain why this hasn't happened yet, or link the place that has explained it?

I got them in the last 1 or 2 months I would say. The tapes for me were very strong, much stronger than the carousels I had before. Everyone advertises being able to re-do tapes, but these actually can do that and still be very sturdy.

I wasnt really intending to write out a full review of the megamaxes (I actually dont even remember why I started writing this in the first place to be honest) but I ended up with this, so enjoy, I guess? (1/2)

Capacity:

The capacity is ludicrous, but the way* it absorbs and distributes wetness is also fantastic.

*Im a guy, and one thing I noticed is that they absorbed really well in the front. Most diapers dont do that very well to be honest, and that means you basically have to ensure that things "down there" are pointed down instead of up or even forward, or else they tend to leak out of the sides in the front of the diaper. While pointing things in a certain direction is fine from the standpoint of effectively using the absorbancy of a diaper, I find that it tends to make the middle area of the diaper absorb everything, and the SAP in the front of the diaper ends up still being dry even when the middle and back are starting to leak. Again, from a capacity standpoint, this isnt the end of the world, but what I end up missing is the feeling of a full diaper around my front. With the megamaxes, I found that even with things pointed down or just moderately forward, it actually did a pretty good job of absorbing it in the front. Like, it wicked a lot of it towards the front instead of all of it going down to the middle. At first, I was worried this would mean that it would leak quickly, but as I used it more and more, it just kept not leaking. And it still did wick down towards the middle, it just didnt do that exclusively.

Tapes:

The tapes are super strong, much stronger and, more importantly, much longer lived than any other adhesive taped diaper I have used before. You can also re-tape them at least once and have them stay in the "this shit aint going anywhere in the next 1000 years" category, maybe even twice. Even after that, they are still decently strong. Even after having them on for multiple hours, the tapes had not started to slide or lose their grip.

Visuals:

They come in solid white or solid navy blue. I personally LOVE the navy blue color. Ive always been more DL than AB (although I have aspects of both) so super babyish prints dont always appeal to me that much. At the same time, solid white is a bit boring for me, and so the navy blue is a really nice compromise in my opinion. More grown up than baby prints or pastel colors, but they still feel more "little" than a solid white diaper. Its kind of like how goodnites have a different kind of print on the larger sizes than they do on the smaller ones, for kids who want something more grown up than spiderman, but not quite at the plain, unprinted level yet.

Structural integrity:

What I mean by this is how well the diaper holds together over time. In some diapers,the SAP and fill/wicking material tends to clump up and/or slide down towards the middle as it gets wet. The more wet they are, and the more you move in them, the worse the effect gets. In severe cases, you can end up with just a thin sheet of plastic covering your front in some cases. I sometimes use a vibrator against the front of my diaper, and this tends to make them clump much faster and also much worse. (I have found that using a booster helps with this) With the megamaxes, I noticed pretty much zero clumping or sliding, even after an extended period of time and extensive wetting. Even using a vibrator (multiple times) didnt seem to change this. (I did notice near the end of its life cycle that some of the volume/bulk in the front felt like it was starting to slide down towards the middle, but 1) it still didnt clump at all, 2) this was only noticeable after it was VERY wet and I had been wearing it for a long time AND had been using a vibrator on it for a pretty long time as well, and 3) even when it did start to slide, it wasnt super bad, there was still a pretty decent amount of material in the front. Finally, this was all WITHOUT a booster in it. I think I tried it with one in, and if memory serves that TOTALLY prevented any kind of clumping or sliding.)

Fit:

While this is likely to very from person to person, I found that megamaxes fit my body better than any diaper I have tried to date. (admittedly, this isnt that many, but still) I didnt even realize what I was missing when it comes to fit before I tried these. I felt like other diapers I had tried didnt fit me all that well, but I guess I just thought that all diapers, or at least all ABDL diapers, would be more or less the same. As it turns out, this is very much not true. For me, megamaxes felt like they fit my body much better than other diapers I have tried, especially around the leg cuffs/leak guards. I honestly felt much more secure because of this. With other diapers, I felt like I would leak out of the sides and/or the front if I "went" in them unless I was in a certain position that would maximize the area that was absorbing everything while minimizing the area and length of time that everything was coming in contact with the leak guards. I tended to have many small leaks even when the diaper was nowhere close to being full. Like, I would be leaking a little bit even when a lot of the diaper was still either mostly or even totally dry. To clarify, the amount that I leaked was much less than the amount that I "went". The reason I leaked was because some of the pee would work its way around the leg cuffs and leak guards before it could be absorbed by the diaper. In contrast to this, with the megamaxes, I feel like I can "go" in pretty much any position. They diaper just fits the shape of my body so much better that I dont have an issue with anything working its way around the leak guards before the diaper is full.

Hold:

What I mean by this is how well the diaper "holds" onto liquid AFTER it has initially absorbed it. Something I have noticed with every diaper I have tried is that it is possible to pee in them and not leak at all while standing or in some other position, but if later on you go and sit down or lay down on your front, you end up leaking around the leak guards. I am pretty sure this happens because when you apply extra pressure to the diaper, if it was already close to or at capacity (or if at least the part you are sitting on is close to capacity), some of the liquid in it end gets squeezed out and cant be re-absorbed until the pressure is removed. Although this seems to be the case for ALL diapers, how MUCH this happens varies from one to another. For example, I pretty much cant sit down in a carousel if I have gone in it more than 2 times or I slowly leak out the sides. By comparison, I was able to sit down in a megamax even after many uses without any leakage. My theory is that this has to do with the ratio between the SAP and the wicking/filler material, as well as how well a diaper wicks in general. If you have a lot of filler material, when you squeeze it it is just like squeezing a towel, a decent amount of liquid is going to come out. If you have a lot of SAP however, applying pressure has much less effect because of the way that it absorbs and holds onto liquid. Additionally, if a diaper doesnt wick very well, when you sit down on it and some liquid gets squeezed out, it ends up just pooling where it is and getting forced out towards the sides. If a diaper wicks very well, when liquid gets squeezed out, it has a better chance of being transferred to another part of the diaper that isnt saturated or is under less pressure and being re-absorbed there before it has a chance to pool and work its way out the sides.

Price:

They are priced VERY reasonably, lower or much lower than many if not most ABDL diapers.

I would say they are definitely not the most discrete thing in the world. They don't start out super thick, but they also are not thin either. They do swell a lot though. They make a decent amount of noise, which for me is a negative, but I havn't seen any diaper other than goodnites that are not loud.

I have not tried doubling them, and honestly I probably wont, sorry.

Its mostly a discretion issue. I live in a dorm during the school year, and at home during the summer with parents and a sibling, so I either need a diaper that is discreet enough to not be noticed or I need to wait until I have the opportunity to go the entire lifespan of the diaper without having to significantly interact with others. Doubling lengthens the time I would need to have to myself, plus makes it less discreet. Also it seems like a bit of a waste to be honest. I actually don't wear all that much, so I try to get as much out of each pack as I can. I have a bunch of ABU boosters that I use to increase thickness and/or capacity though.

Im not against doubling or anything. When I eventually have my own place and am able to wear more frequently, Ill probably try it.

So I finally got a chance to try a megamax with a booster in it! (I am pretty sure I had done this before, but my memory was vague)

The capacity is insane, as expected. Its super thick, and clumping/shifting SAP/padding is nonexistent.

What I did was drink several glasses of water before putting it on, and then drinking anywhere from 0.5 to 1 glass of water or milk every time I wet. The result was that I felt like I was pretty much constantly peeing, and it was great! I think I probably went like every 10-20 minutes if I had to guess.

The extra bulk almost makes it hard to properly… err… "stimulate" yourself, even with a decently powered vibrator. I also am wondering if it slightly inhibited the wicking ability, since the pee was going through a booster pad instead of just the diaper. I feel like It hasn't wicked towards the back super well. I have had a few smallish leaks, but considering how much I was going, Im not at all surprised. Honestly it is very impressive that it held up this much in the first place. I also had things pointing more forwards than down this time, and I think that may have been a contributing factor. Iv been sitting on a bed pad, so Im OK with small leaks right now. The little leaks were just from the pee getting directed into the front but not having anywhere else to get absorbed, and it pooled before it got to the back because of how I was sitting or possibly the booster, maybe both.

On a semi-related note, does anybody know how long you have to take chlorophyll and phylum husks for either of them to start to take effect? I only have a few more days, and I really want to try them, but dont know if I will be able to wear by the time they take effect.

What make/model are you using? I'm not too knowledgeable on the market but I have a really old Reach-Easy (that's the brand) that's pretty heavy duty. I think they're one of those things they don't make them like they used to.

I tend not to have much trouble with thickness dampening stimulation though. The thicker the diapers, the more turned on I get and the less stimulation I need, so it balances out.

I tried to make a DIY version once when I was younger It worked exactly once, but then it started falling apart and I ended up peeing all over the floor and my pants the next time I tried to use it.
