I suspected that this possible, because /daily/ was already taken by a board I couldn't find so I had to go for /dmb/ for Daily Manga Board. Except that I am retarded and put down /dmg/ because it was late, I was in a hurry and in my head I sad Daily Manga General as I was typing…

Originally, I was just going to post the auto generated board owner password on the iro so that anyone adjust the board in any way they like, but unfortunately you can change the password, so one guy could lock everyone else out, which would suck.

The images seem to be already gone. I know we recently experienced the Christmas miracle where iromoot rose from the grave and fixed up the site for a moment, but I doubt there will be a repeat of that.

If you guys still prefer continuing using the old daily board as a text board, we can do that. I just wanted to have a fall back board before the iroboard is gone. As one anon in the old meta thread put it "Not to fearmonger, but after its gone is hardly the time to plan for its disappearance".

I've already made a few changes, mostly lifting restrictions.

I don't think enabling country flags is a good idea. The board population is too low and I feel like some semblance on anonymity is good, even if it would be fun for a moment.

Custom board assets sounds fun. I'll try to make some banners on the weekend from daily OC that has been made in the past.

Just follow the steps on the 4chan pass page. Make a Coinbase account, buy $20 of BTC, wait a thousand years for it to be approved, buy the pass. I will say that when I first bought the pass I had some trouble setting it up. 4chan kept forgetting I had a pass no matter how many times I activated it. The solution was something to do with Javascript, but I forget.

As of now I have bought it twice. I used Coinbase both times.

Opening an account there isn't hard but it's a bit of a chore and it's not instantaneous. I don't know if it's the same in the rest of the world, but they required a bank statement which I had to go to my actual bank to get, because for some reason I couldn't get it off of my mobile banking app.

Aside from that it's nothing special, took me I think two days in total to open it and then I just bought Bitcoin.

Funnily enough when I bought my first pass in January of last year I left like 8€ worth of BTC behind and when I checked Coinbase last month again to buy more for the pass, I had like 15€, so BTC essentially doubled in value in the last year.

Made me actually consider getting into active investing for a second lol
