Ryuu Oracle. I heard that she can grant wishes, which means a possible way back to my world. Of course, I don't know that that's beyond her power. And by the time I reach her, will I still really want to leave?
>The recurring boss. Like the rival, but harder
Salamander Zealot. After me thanks to the fencer. If I beat the fencer often enough, the salamander hears about it and thinks me a worthy challenge, so she'll randomly show up to fight me for honor. Alternatively, if I lose to the fencer often enough, there's a chance that she'll tell the salamander that I insulted her honor, so she'll randomly show up to fight me for vengeance. Regardless, the fencer was difficult, but the zealot is damn near impossible.
>Final boss. Once I beat her it's smooth sailing. The problem is beating her
The vampire empress. You know that rival I've been mentioning? Turns out that she's the daughter of the empress. The empress heard of my arrival, and since her last human lover died millenniums ago, she has been longing for a new one. The problem is that she's smart enough to realize that I'd eventually die of old age, so she plans on using [plot device] to keep me alive at the cost of my free will and humanity. She sent her daughter to collect me (though her daughter had other plans), but as time goes on she gets more impatient, and starts using more and more drastic measures to capture me until I take her down for good.
