3 trials. bring it on.
>trial of will
I invoke the power of /nofap/
>trial of the survivor
I've watched enough nature documentaries to pull it off
>trial of the haunted house
I mastered both Amnesia games, this is nothing.
when we're done, send me back to that elf tribe. orgies galore and I get my own pocket dimension in which to rest. love it.

A year with constant erection and no release will result in you becoming an impotent, at best. Most likely insane, too.
And then you'll have to live through two years of nightmare for sake of perks you won't be able to enjoy.

Haunted House & Survivor would be my main choices.
In both cases your main threats to succeeding the trials will likely be psychological in nature.
Mortality doesn't seem like much of an issue in either case unless you really screw up, not to mention, haunted house could probably be beaten in the first week if you're good at speed-running puzzle games. I'd explore like Sherlock on crack during the day and do some Anne Frank level shit to stay barricaded and hidden during the night.
If I had to pick a third I'd go for Adventurer. I'm sure a lot of the problems could be circumvented by identity concealing and staying on the move. Even if I were to fail, gaining the "yandere curse" is a small price to pay for having a shot at exploring a fantasy realm, even if it is for a brief period of time.
>>14813
>Frankly speaking, none of these rewards are worth the bother and/or the risk.
Not jerking it for a year just for some willpower does seem pretty lame but I wouldn't say the risk/reward ratio is the same for all of these trials.
I wouldn't doubt some would fail a trial or two on purpose just because they find a drawback more appealing than the reward or trial itself. It's also plausible some may value the the journey over the destination, ie. taking on the challenge just because they think it sounds fun or appeals to their deep♂dark♂fantasy's. Hell, i'd take Haunted house and Survivor even if I wasn't getting any boons out of it.

How is Champion more impossible? It removes the "if you pass out you fail" condition and adds "you won't need to eat sleep etc". Basically the only way to fail now is to give up.

I was thinking "Man, this is really gay" and then I read the name of the author. Now I understand why. It's too bad he got a lot of his voice back when he wasn't such a huge queer, it makes it nearly impossible to dismiss it without reading a sizeable chunk of text.

Considering the only way to fail is to specifically give up, I think it's basically a guaranteed success at that point because you won't be coherent enough to give up.

Risk/reward is the same in sense of always being shitty. And those that won't end up breaking your body entirely, will still require you to do stuff you simply wouldn't agree to. Like Trial of the Slaver – to qualify for it, your victim will have to be someone you care enough about to not agree to have her raped into mindbreak and then auctioned off as a sex slave.

It's because the author is a little bitch boy whose essence is that of the masochist. His works are for similar little effete masochists. A central part of this sexual pillar is being transgressed in an emasculating way and having those you care about similarly transgressed upon. So although you think they ought to be caged, they are both the author and the audience for these images.

You may say so, but I've seen a number of works by the same author that are actually playable by sane people, with crappy stuff pushed out into regular drawback section (as in, non-obligatory options); many of these have the player being the dom. So no, not all of his works are strictly for sissy sociopaths.

>Three trials (using updated champion trial)
Can I trade my retrial for another trial?
>trial of the champion
Simple enough, I just don't have to give up and who would?
>trial of will
Then I'll go to the tribe and immediately start razing the village. I'll kill every elf with my bare hands with the power I got. If I'm not allowed to do that, then I can just leave the village and raze the humans. If I do this right, I will be busy going to war with the human kingdoms long enough not to have time to masturbate, or maybe I could (if it only works with the elves) get me some human wench to fuck (it's not elfic, so…). This trial is necessary so that I can do the following:
>trial of the guardian
Then I'll exert my indomitable will in paying attention to the relic. This way I can focus on the relic without focusing on the fuck. I'd punch the girls instead but my job is to fuck them. Fuck this shitty job. My feet hurt. I want to focus on the relic. I hate this. Vaginas are gross. I want to go home. etc.
If I could get away with not fucking, or if I could make fame as the worst lay of the guardians, then I could possibly focus on the relic before, which would improve my chances in the trial of will. But I'm not sure what happens if I die there so whatever.
>if I can exchange my retrial:
>trial of the survivor
With my powers it should be simple enough. Every tentacle I see I crush it with my hands, every fire I start I use it to raze the forest.
>>14821
Yeah, it's by far the easiest trial now. My strategy would have worked with the old one, though, since you needed to eat etc then you could use the breaks to get more tranquility.

Unfortunately, you don't get any powers (or curses) until you finish all your trial attempts. Kind of makes the CYOA pretty boring and stupid. Yes, powers from previous trials do make later trials trivial in some cases, but that's what makes the build fun. You look for a break-in point where you can win with no powers, and then choose your second and third stage based on the powers you get in the first and second, sort of like a Megaman game. With the "no powers until the finished" clause everything is completely independent of each other and the CYOA no longer has any fun interactions with itself.

So both Trial of Will and Trial of the Champion involve having to 'admit defeat' or give up to lose the trial. So here's my plan:
3 Trials:
1) Trial of Wills - this will be hellish, but if you make it you have an indominable will, then:
2) Trial of Wills - just keep enduring and never giving up until you succeed
3) Trial of the Champion - same deal, indominable will your way through the pleasure.
Now I'm an iron willed, super strong and durable, hyper intelligent guy. Time to go get Priscilla pregnant or goad her into letting me do some other trials (but not slaver, cause that one's evil).

Obviously the eternal erection of the Trial of Will isn't going to destroy your dick literally, any more than literal 14 days of straight sex isn't going to break your pelvis, snap every tendon in your lower body and cause all the relevant muscles to rupture. The point is that you have to endure these impossible states.
Also, you are just wrong, plenty of men go for very extended lengths without ejaculation and they are not impotent, nor is their prostate damaged.

>plenty of men go for very extended lengths without ejaculation and they are not impotent, nor is their prostate damaged
You seem to have missed the part about prolonged erection.
Incidentally, it's not exactly possible to literally not ejaculate for a long time if you're a physiologically healthy male (even if we pretend that it's psychologically sound behaviour). If you don't get enough stimulation for a discharge, it'll start happening automatically in your sleep.

I'm guessing wet dreams don't count as a loss as it doesn't happen during sexual contact and is involuntary. and if that stops the prostate from becoming fucked up (assuming you weren't BS'ing in the first place) then what are we worried about again? secondly, nowhere does it say you have to be around the elves 24/7. be a hermit. meditate. exercise. it's possible.

You are still missing the part about prolonged erections. And don't forget that we're talking about a whole year of uninterruptedly going against your own physiological nature, I highly doubt that wet dreams can do much about that part.
>nowhere does it say you have to be around the elves 24/7. be a hermit.
It says, and I quote: "[…] they will constantly tempt, tease, and try to seduce you. The elves will do anything they can to have sex with you, short of raping you. [followed by concrete examples]" It's pretty explicit that you won't have any luxury such as freedom to be away from all that stimulation, or to get any sufficient distraction to keep yourself sane for that matter.
