This is a nice idea that came up, creating a mascotte for our board!

Light blue hair for the normal board color.
I would've suggested purple eyes, but that's because I thought the 8 or infinity in 8chan's logo was purple. Green wouldn't be a good color for eyes, because I think it would clash with the other colors. For the hair style, I would personally go with long straight hair, but that's more of a 'beautiful' thing than a cute thing. I think we should avoid dark or vibrant colors, since light and paleish colors make things seem calmer if that makes any sense.

I guess I should give some detail on the dress too. It shouldn't be super poofy at the skirt, but it shouldn't be tight. It would be sleeved, with the poofy thing at the shoulders. From there, a sleeve halfway to the elbow, made of white lace, like the ends of a nice table cloth. Down the center of the dress would be white, and obviously a different part sewn on to the rest of the dress, if this makes sense. The white would end where the skirt thing starts.

Lovely, anon! May I make a few suggestions? I think because your outfit looks almost like a maid outfit maybe we can go full on because it would less color for anons to worry about. Maybe we can also have a simple, causal outfit too along with the idol outfit to make her little more approachable for non-drawfags. Also the moon boots are awesome, but they look too flat for me. I think the 8ch logo will be just fine. This can be a schoolgirl outfit. I think she absolutely should have well defined and charming personality when we introduce her, leave some to the imagination, but have a strong foundation to get the ball rolling. I would suggest the dress be a bit longer, and not sticking straight out at the bottom, making it a more gradual curve to the bottom which is more like some roses.
Also, this next idea isn't really a suggestion since it would be a bad idea since it would make OC less common, but I really think victorian dresses can look quite nice.

I could attempt to draw. In fact I did start, but I really can't draw the face or hair. I don't think I could draw hands or feet either. Well I think that the design is pretty much defined, unless someone still wants to add something.
The color scheme is the one in the sketch at >>5303 and more details are at >>5693 (not that much detailed eh, these are examples - maybe you could use the heart texture we have on posts here in the dress?) and >>5736 - >>5820 .
There's only one thing I'd change in the sketch - I'd colour the 8chan headband with a different shade of pink, like that it's too similar to her hair - or even make it green. I know it's out of place, but it's the 8chan logo.
And the hair. We wanna them straight like in the sketch? They are fine for me, wanna know what you guys think.
Lastly - we were thinking of making a twin sister for her, in resemblance of the former /c/ board who's now dead. We'll make them twins since it makes sense and you don't have to draw 2 characters! Just swap their colour scheme like Ram and Rem of Re Zero - or even better, the dress scheme like the twin sisters of Another - see pic related.
And now that I think about it, this fits even better since in Another one of the twins dies - like /c/.
tl;dr maybe wait an answer for the couple of things I asked, then go for it. Just let me know if this is ok.

Alright, here's some alternative choices for colour scheme and hair styles. Everyone can just reply to this post with the combination they like most. Don't hesitate to suggest another hairstyle if you don't like any of them, these are just the ones that came to mind.
My personal opinion: 3A, original hair is /cute/st and green + pink actually works quite well.
Take my take opinion on colour with a few grains of salt though, I have some issues seeing green/red properly. Please tell me if anything is off.
I will think of a few simple dress designs tomorrow. This will be somewhat new after drawing military uniforms and shirts all the time, but theres good references in this thread already, so it should work out.

I like the idea of swapping only colour and/or details on the dress, but I plan on drawing them together anyway, with some sort of interaction. So don't worry about the amount I have to draw, it's fun and good practice.

I'm the one who made the sketch, the bangs of the hair actually gradually turn to the blue board hue which kinda makes it look violet or purple in between but you might not see it well in the sketch unless you examine it closely.
I'm not sure about that green color I think it kinda clashes with the rest but that's just my opinion. I think the hair looks good as either the pink or blue hue, but again you can change it as you like. Maybe the ribbon could be the darker board blue hue if the color of the hair is pink ,or you could change the green of the ribbon to make it more minty colored so that it matches the rest a bit better..
I fixed up the color scheme a bit to show what I mean, not sure if its /cute/r or not. I kinda like the hair as a solid color but this doesn't look that bad either, kinda like the hair used to be dyed blue and then it grew out and some light pink was added

Its actually just this board pink and board blue (2 colors) but they're just used more or less to make it look more like a smooth transition, like dithering. Each one might have a bit of a blurred edge which aids the effect.

As for the colours, I'd make the hair ones a bit more saturated, to see the transiton better. Maybe using the Colours of the posts instead of the background? And I'd swap them - blue on top, transition to pink in the bottom. That's because I think it'll be a bit too much pink overall.
For the ribbon, idea: make the one of the /c/ tan red, and the one of //cute// tan - this one in your post - green. To symbolize both logos of 8chan and to say that /c/ tan is gone now.

Anyway, here are some dresses.
First is close to the one in the original sketch.
Second is the first merged with a little more traditional style.

Ignore the colours for now, they'll be changed to match her hair and headband. And again, nothing is final yet so combinations of parts and new ideas are still possible.

For the dress: yes the second one is the most appealing to me. Maybe I'll combine it with the short sleeves of the third one.

Honestly I just wanted to do enough to get you lot a board-tan for the artwork. I'll drop by from time to time, but I have my own little community I belong to. There's always tons of wörk wörk to be done there.
Come by at >>>/lippe/ or search for a thread called "Deutsch/pol/" on /pol/. It's all in German, but everyone is willing to switch to English if needed, and most of them appreciate /cute/ things.
