I don't know why they haven't rebooted this cartoon yet, but I hope it stays that way, no one wants to see it get turned into Calarts shit.

Yeah, it would most likely be monkey paw situation.
Even Invader Zim got Calarts treatment and al the beautiful angular lines turned into mushy circles.

>Calarts treatment
Im pretty sure that's the original creator's style. In the first run of zim it was someone else doing the character designs because Zims creator was busy writing and storyboarding.

No, Invader Zim was pretty much the exact style of older Vasquez works.

I really wanted to like this show, but it just didn't cut it for me. I watched through the whole show a few years ago, but it was so forgettable that I can't remember much of it. I remember thinking that they never really used what they had to its full potential, with a few memorable exceptions. That "arc" about the other robot girl that Brad fell in love with could have been a great storyline, but they ended up only having her in like two episodes and never came back to it. My favorite episode that I can remember is that one where Brad joins the Skyway Patrol thinking they're a bunch of Buck Rodgers-esque badasses, but then finds out that they're a bunch of autists who spend 99% of their time doing paperwork (which is a great parody of real law enforcement agencies). If nothing else, at least the girls on this show were cute.

Why did so many of these old Nick shows spawn some of the most degenerate fanbases ever deviced?

It's good to see other people recognize that there were girls other then babby's first robot waifu/fap, and yeah, I like the cartoon but it isn't really anything special.

I honestly still want to see what a gainax/ trigger reboot of the series would've been.

It was the 11 minute time limit, if you watch the tv movie its much better paced compared to a regular episode. You can only cram so much in 11 minutes before it becomes a jumbled mess.

The people over at gainax/ trigger are massive westabos and made a lot of cartoon tribute pics. There was a more solid source but It escapes me at the moment, Id find it more believable whatever they had planned for the reboot was just retooled, expanded upon and morphed into Panty and Stocking, art style and all.
