Making an animated Kaiju film from the 70's, Any advice? It's way simpler than that. You have a team of scientists/a paranormal organization that looks into the strange sightings of mega fauna. Leading to various monsters of the week cropping up wherever they go. Activities with the science team can range of observation, containment, or stopping outside forces disturbing a benevolent creature. Have one or a several friendly kaiju that you can sort of make mascots of the show to fight also fight the threats that are too much to handle for the team.

I made a comic when I was in highschool about this team sent to destroy an enemy base only to find it has already been destroyed an a monster exists on this island so they're stuck fighting it. I wanted to remake it since I have the idea fleshed out more and I want the art to look better than what I did in highschool. I want to make it sort of like the 1954 Gojira meets Apocalypse Now.

Wow, thank you! I didn't expect such a positive response. I guess you can say I developed my style by practicing drawing kaiju and pokemon as a kid and trying to get them to look more realistic. I also used pictures of monsters for some references sometimes. I also used a book on how to draw dragons that helped me a lot into making the monsters more 3D and less flat.

The female one was Komodothrax. I think they were from the same genus but not the same species. Which is kinda weird given Komodothrax is a giant komodo dragon and Zilla is a mutated iguana. It was a kinda neat episode. Basically, she called Zilla over to be a dad for her unhatched eggs but then a Gamera knockoff drags her down into a chasm with him and the eggs.
