It only leaves the question of how will they do his hair, because I'd not be happy if they kept it as is.

It's a stunt double suit so very likely this one is extra bulky for safety. Then if you look at the stunt actor's face, you can see black dots everywhere. Those are likely for the CGI layer they'll put later to make him look more like Battinson.

There's a lot of problems with the base Nolan suit. In real life & story wise. The design is fine but they execution was still stuck in the Tim Burton era of batsuits. With a thick neck limiting movement, a bulky rubber body rather than armor on top of a flexible material, & a belt that looks more for show than practicality.

Heath Ledger wasn't even a good Joker. A good psycho villain sure but not Joker. The only villains that translated well to Nolan's "grounded" takes were Ra's Al Ghul & Scarecrow. No idea why they kept bringing Crane back for cameos though.

The most ridiculous villains translated better than the Joker? Are you serious? Joker was the most fitting to that franchise, and he was a great Joker within that franchise. Sure, he wouldn't fit into the Justice League cinematic universe, but what actually fits into that…
Shit I'm glad they don't waste the current Joker on the new Batman movie either.

Ledger's Joker doesn't fit as a Joker adaptation. He's the most normie take on what Joker is. Not a clown gangster that does ridiculous things. Instead he's made into 'muh chaos' & can get away with anything he does. Plus running makeup & Ledger having to smack his lips constantly really took me out of the performance. But really no one's performances or "realistic" takes were very good in any of the three movies.

Bane is a fucking embarrassment only good for memes with how ridiculously awful the opening scenes dialogue is.
Thalia was never gonna be done well on her own. Definitely makes no sense to pair her with Bane.
Batman had a cool suit. His car made no sense though. I've never liked Bale as an actor or a person. His performance as Bruce Wayne is just okay but his Batman is as embarassing as Bane. No actual fighting ability but that's more of a problem with the production. A gravelly voice that sounds like he gargles glass. Having no eye covers whatsoever beyond the one time with the x-ray lenses is a design problem on par with Bane having black panties instead of a full mask.

Nolan should never write female characters because he just can't. They all end up awful in his movies. If Thalia was replaced by her father in the movie, I would at least have given a crap, because I understand his motivation from the comics.
There's so much focus on Bane, I just didn't care about her motivation and story anymore. And Bane was basically just a troll. Can't say I don't like that movie, because Nolan movies simply sound and look amazing, yet so much happens in it and I care for nothing.

He can't write in general. It's just most prevalent in his female characters. They don't feel like people & just end up being there rather than having real agency. Neither Catwoman or Talia having feelings for Bruce made any sense either. There's no chemistry or reason for either woman to sleep with him/run away with him.
Bane feels like he was intentionally written like a jab to anyone who complained about comic accuracy. He created a Bane so far removed from everything the character has been that it's only memorable for the ridiculous dialogue performed by Tom Hardy speaking british in a cup.
