20 mins "prep", as in boiling and peeling eggs, 15 mins actually doing anything. Slice boiled eggs lengthwise, remove yolks, mash up yolks, add ingredients I listed, mix, reintroduce mix to slices, refrigerate about 20 mins
Whole process is about an hour, so worth it.

Egg salad is usually chopped boiled eggs dressed with a mayonnaise - mustard dressing.
Deviled eggs is usually boiled eggs sliced in half , yolks scooped out, pureed with mayonnaise - mustard dressing, then the yolk-salad stuffed back into the half egg-whites. Deviled eggs are usually garnished with something.
There is a noticeable texture difference and presentation difference.
If you had deviled eggs and chopped them up and stirred a little, you could probably call it egg salad and make a pretty decent sandwich. Nobody I know has the problem of leftover deviled eggs.
