>Meanwhile soak your noodles

>when stock and chicken is almost ready, add your green onion (avoid cooking it all the way through)

>Asssemble your noodles first in your weebiest bowl, Stock and chicken, finally some green onion leftovers and Spinach because fuck you.

Put noodle brick in bowl.

Add flavor pack. (I use chicken)

Add whatever meat you have in the fridge. (Roast chicken, pork loin, whatever.)

Boil two cups of water in a kettle.

Pour water into the bowl.

Once noodles are soft, eat it all with chopsticks and drink broth.

Honestly, when I make ramen, it's a fast convenience food. So, I don't aim for excellent quality. I usually use Maruchan bricks, because they're good enough.

I take two slices of Spam, put them in the bottom of a square semi-disposable plastic food box slightly larger than a noodle brick (like Gladware 3 cup square (Ziploc also has a comparable product); the kind you might use for a sandwich), top with a sprinkle of dried seaweed and the broth powder packet, then put the noodle brick on top. Cover brick with water just off the boil, place lid on (loosely is fine), wait about 5 minutes.

If you want to add a dash of rice vinegar, soy sauce, or sriracha… do it at the end. Vinegar while the noodles are "cooking" will drastically alter the texture (in a bad way, in my opinion).

This is certainly not the best ramen available, noodle quality is on par with cup noodles, but much less expensive.

As always, the sodium level can be regulated by simply using less of the flavoring packet.

Shin Ramyun + 1/3 lb of ground beef + 2 eggs

Thaw frozen leftover beef in pot while heating the water

Throw packets and noodles in

After the noodles start to soften, throw one egg in as your "eating" egg

Once the noodles are nearly done, throw the other one in as your "soup enriching" egg

Heat off, pour into hueg bowl, place large slice of sourdough over top of bowl

Download latest episode of your favorite moeshit while your weebbowl cools

Remove sourdough, pray to eatadakimass, pierce the over-easy egg, and enjoy

Once you're done with the noodles, dip the sourdough in the soup and have that too, but save just enough to wipe the bowl clean once you're done.

I don't do ramen that often, but I like to add an egg. either poached, boiled or just dropping in and mixing the yolk. Left over veg gets added and maybe some leftover pork or chicken. basically, add leftovers, if it has a noticeably non-asian flavour, throw it in a pan and fry with soysauce and sesame oil

Turn the tap to hot and wait for it to fully heat (boils faster this way). Bring 2 cups water to a rolling boil.

Add noodles and cook for exactly 1:45. Remove from heat, add flavor packet, 2 dashes onion salt, one dash pepper, and 5-30 shakes Tabasco.

Serve in a coffee cup with chopsticks, eat noodles, drink broth, hate yourself. Voilà.

Other neet food, as in cheep shit because most neets are poor I assume? Rice. I've been surviving off of rice mixed with a few ingredients for a while now. sometimes I add chicken stock, bonito flakes, sliced veg a bit of meat, pop an egg on top. Pasta can be a good one too. And cabbage is cheap and keeps well. Make a slaw, add to soups, etc. carrots are a pretty good ingredient too, same as potatoes. poke a few holes in a russett, microwave for 4-6 minutes (depending on power level/size), bake at 400f, cut it open, add cheese an egg and hot sauce and put back in till the egg is cooked. It's good if you don't mind waiting, allows you to get things done as it cooks.

fry onion in little oil and ramen spice mix (sometimes add extra spice)

turn heat down add crushed ramen and allow noodles to just toast for a second

add just enough water it cooks the noodles so the broth is nice and thick when it boils down (pretty small amount)

when noodles are nearly done add an egg and mix in.

There is always too much noodles in ramen packets anyway if i eat this i am fucking full for ages.

i usually get mi goreng or maruchan.

well the sacrificial anode is a bit of metal added into your water heater, it will corrode instead of the tank because magic. i don't know how water heaters work but if its not filtered on the way out of the tank i can see why having aluminum go into your body is a bad thing. but you also have shit settling to the bottom of the tank and your supposed to flush the system once every 6 or 12 months so the effects should be no more than boiling a pot of pasta with an aluminum pot.

tl;dr its most likely fine as long as you maintain your water heater.

what you do need to worry about is if your pipes are shit, if your piping hot water through shit pipes with lead or other contaminates in them it will break down faster with hot water and give you a mega dose. some of the newer plastic type pipes leech something like 200% more with hot water compared to cold. so make sure you know whats in your house.

Drain off 3/4 liquid.

Add 2 Tbsp peanut butter, ~1-1.5 Tbsp curry powder, 2 tsp oyster sauce, 3 tsp garlic powder, a dash of salt, and sriracha to taste.

Cover with something solid, toss till mixed evenly, then leave covered to infuse.

Ramen al-dente, just right, not mushy. Microwave or stove top whatever you choose.

Now you can add the powder to the water first if you'd like, but try not to use the powder flavor if it is different from the meat you're going to use, if you're going to use any meat, unless your intention is to make some sort of 3-meat soup or something.

Putting beef in ramen kind of causes problems and can collide with the water content of the noodles making both the meat and the noodles soggy, also adding egg that isn't already cooked is typically an unfavorable idea which includes adding egg to noodles that are still cooking like putting it in with the noodles still in the pan if you're trying to fry them, and try to avoid the common mistake of adding more of any one ingredient to the noodles than the amount of the actual noodles unless it's the soup base or some kind of weird ramen burger.

Anything else I have to say is my own recipe or secret technique, etc. Just don't forget that you can add fruits or alcohol, and that there are other types of meats except for chicken, beef, and pork.

I like the ramen that you fry in a pan.

Also frozen peas upgrade any ramen instantly and easily.

I put a tin of smoked oysters or mussels in with some hot sauce. the bowls of the "spicy" ramen bowls at walmart are fine to take to work for that. its actually pretty dank. If you dont think youll like canned shellfish, id say just try it anyway. the first time eating canned oysters, I didnt even finish them all, didnt like them, now I love it.

Is this considered neet food? It is, in my humble opinion. Cheap, needs a little bit of work, can be customized and is reasonably tasty.

Tin can spaghetti in contrast I don't consider neet tier as it's pretty disgusting no matter what you do.
