In America I could manage it, but in France their pizza is just straight nasty, and more expensive than the pizza the kebab guy makes or that yu buy at the supermarket, both of which taste better than domino's.

the thing is that they make it pretty affordable here, that you just can't resist ordering, even if you know it might taste like shit
considering that the best i can cook is baked potatoes and mediocre eggs, a shitty pizza and something else is the more preferable option every 3-4 days

For me a pizza at the kebab guy is 6-9 euros, the domino's pizza is anywhere from 12-20 euros delivered (I'm not walking all the way back while it gets cold). I'm basing it off the pizza hut menu though but it's the same prices, really. Meanwhile the kebab's actually tastes like a pizza. Alternatively for 5 euros I get one at the supermarket and heat in a frying pan (no oven).

dominos delivery for the smallest-biggest pizza here is 3.50-9 euro, which is basically 1-2 days worth of food from a supermarket
don't know any other pizzarias nearby so i can't really compare. my supermarket has frozen ones at around 2-3 euros, but i'm not so confident in frozen food

Guys I've had this shitty business idea for so god damn long but hear me out:
Pizza delivery truck
>Make dough and sauce in bulk every night
>Keep that in an actual building, small enough for pick ups
>Deliveries are handled by food trucks
>They pick up dough and sauce as needed but keep all the toppings in the truck
>On delivery they will go to the address and actually bake the pizza there
>Non driver is the one to hand deliver if it wasn't picked up
This way you cut out the driving a fully cooked pizza so its a fresh hot pizza and drivers will only rarely need to come back to the main building to pick up pizzas.

Pan pizzas are pretty great. I don't have an oven at home so this is about the only solution, but it gives a nice crust.

Because in reality I know its not too practical. You'd need a small building for pick ups and overnight prepwork, but also at least one reasonably furnished food truck.
Then the space for each delivery to allow you to park and cook

i think the idea is that if they start cooking when they get to your destination, you'd be able to see all the preparation and discern for yourself if the quality of the cooking is shit or not
from my short experience with dominos, their stuff tastes alright when fresh and bland/bad once it gets cold, which isn't my usual experience with other fast food places

I almost never order actual pizza from pizza delivery places (here we have a local pizza joint and Pizza Hut, Dominos, and Papa John's) but their pastas, subs, and wings are good.

Making homemade pizza is pretty easy, you just need sauce, cheese, and some toppings. For a crust you can go all out and make a home made crust, but a very easy work around is to use flatbread of some type. Naan actually works quite well for this, and lets you make smaller personal pizzas. In my opinion, the sauce is the most important part of the pizza, so you should look up some recipes online and figure out what kind of herbs you like best. I also might be a little biased, since I have an actual secret family recipe for making pizza sauce. No I'm not sharing it. But a simple sauce can be made with tomato paste, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, maybe a little sugar if you like (personally i think the tomatoes should be sweet enough), some olive oil and maybe a little balsamic vinegar. Just mix all that up in a saucepan on low heat for a little while then spoon it right on your pizza.

If you live in the midwest USA, you are blessed to have Beggar's Pizza available. Expensive, but worth it. I suggest;
>Tomato, Black Olive, Extra Cheese
>Sausage, Pepperoni, Mushroom

Yeah, cooking while in transit is impossible since a food truck on a road isn't exactly the safest place to be cooking.

Why are pizza places ran by italians the worst?
In school there was this fat italian girl who liked me and said I could eat at her dad's pizza restaurant for free. I decided I would start pocketing my lunch money and eating her pizza, but it was so awful I decided it wasn't worth the money and effort.
