Toast sandwich?
> Toast a slice of bread
> Butter, salt and pepper the toast
> Put that between two slices of untoasted bread
I've tried it and it honestly wasn't too bad. I thought it was just a meme but if all you have is bread, butter and some salt and pepper packets it's not too bad!

man ,i used to eat these ALL the time when i was a wee lad ,still do sometimes
anyhow
"end of month" fish sandwich
a piece of bread
1 single slice (as single as you , you fucking NEET ,) of cheese
1/6 of a tinned sardine
flatten the fish and pan fry it
toast the bread in the same pan
put the cheese and fish inside of the bread and cover it so the cheese melts
i dont know if this is cheap anywere else , but its around 4 hueais , its quite cheap for something filling like this (if youre really on a budget , use a 2:1 mix of flour and water, and fry the fucker , instead of bread )

What size tin of sardines?
May sound like a dumb question, but around here, the 425g (15 ounce) tin of sardines in tomato sauce is only about twice as much money as the 100g (3.5 ounce) tin.
Seriously; like $1.59 for the big tin, $0.89 for the small tin.
Since we're supposed to be doing ghetto recipes, when I am broke-broke and need to eat, I do TKG.
Raw egg cracked into warm white rice, three drops of soy sauce, stir. Lived on that for a few months between jobs, about 26 months ago.
If you're thinking long term, you definitely want to be buying rice in large bags - the good rice in 20lb bags costs about half as much per pound as the same stuff in a 5lb plastic bag.

Hardly about ramen.
Preparing brick noodles in various ways, yes, but turning a brick of Maruchan into sriracha macaroni and cheese isn't ramen.
And the obligatory cheap food reference:
Eggs.
Boiled eggs, fried eggs, deviled eggs, egg salad sandwiches… eggs are about the least expensive animal protein you can get.
As I have said many times before, learn to make an omelette… meal for around 35 cents.
