You raise a few good points (namely about his wealth, fame, and promotion of simulation theory). An antichrist who is a famous businessman rather than a polotical/religious leader would be unexpected (and thus a smart move on the devil's part). I could see a celebrity businessman like Elon gaining enough power in society to establish a powerful false religion.

However, I see some problems with this theory. Firstly, there are many more celebrities who push false doctrines, including ones far more dangerous than simulation theory.

Secondly, he doesn't have the power in state or religion that the Antichrist is described as having in the scriptures. The Bible describes the antichrist as seating himself in God's temple and declaring himself God (II Thessalonians 2:3-4), and as having the institutional power to kill those opposed to him (Revelation 13:15). Elon doesn't have that.
