Is it wrong for a man to marry a (straight) trans woman (who also believes in Christ)? She'd be post op if that makes any difference.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I haven't consistently read the bible for over a decade so my knowledge on the Christian faith is a bit rusty.

Also not using a flag because I'm not sure what denomination I'd fall under, since regaining faith in the lord during a near death experience a little over a year ago. I was raised Roman Catholic if that helps.

Mutilating your genitals to feed into your mental illness is a clear offense against God

Now don't think I'm ridiculing transgenders but strictly speaking a transwoman is a mentally ill man. That can't be changed. A "marriage" between a normal man and a transwoman goes against God's design of marriage which is between a man and a woman in Christian faith.

Genesis 2:24

So to answer your question OP with a Christian worldview it's wrong

Same sex as God made them so it's sodomy. Sex is between a man and a woman as God made them.

The great thing about Christianoty. is that its an uncompromising system of morality that can adapt to changing circumstances. There is no such thing as a trans woman or a trans Christian. What you've described is a homosexual relationship in which a supposed Christian (you) has unequally yoked himself to a man who cannot even accept the most fundamental premises of God's design, that he made us male and female.

Living a gay lifestyle is a sin.

Living a trans lifestyle is a sin.

To be a christian you have to leave those sins behind. Repent and follow christ.

The bible doesn't say marrying a non christian is a sin, but it does say its a very very bad idea.

Real marriage can only be between a penis bearer and a pussy bearer.

There's no such thing as a "gay" or "trans" person. Those are choices you make. Everyone has to ignore sinful lusts, there is no reason for those lusts to be exempt.
