I have heard that the old testament is not historically accurate and that this is proof that Christianity is false, is this true about the historical accuracy and if so how are we as Christians supposed to interpret the old testament if it does not line up with history ?

See for example Exodus and Joshua.

It is historically accurate. If secular historians disagree theyre the ones who are mistaken.

The debate is actually that there's somewhat different accounts in non biblical sources or an absence of outside evidence for biblical accounts, there's nothing that the new atheist movement can point to and say "this artifact disproves a biblical record of history"

The Bible is wrong about everything. Thank God Augustine's and Aquinas' blatant misinterpretations of it knocked some truth into its followers. If only the Church succeeded in burning all the Bibles before the reformation we might finally have utopia.

The Bible was oftentimes written like Our Lord Spoke: in parables.

Archaeologist have discovered many artifacts that go back to biblical times. Noah’s arc is on top of Mt. Ararat in Turkey. Frozen in ice. It has been seen a few times when the weather was hot enough to melt it. We have the Dead Sea scrolls interpreted they talk of Christ. They just discovered the old Jerusalem it was underneath the digs of city built after Jerusalem was taken over by the Romans. There are many many more. But the main thing “without Faith it is impossible to please God. So,we walk by faith. We can’t see Him, but we can feel him… and he will show himself to us when we need him.
