Gnosis only means knowledge in Greek. If your beliefs derive from your experience, then it is obvious that more experience can lead you to new knowledge. Faith is only a bridge to new knowledge and different forms of knowing.
Gnosticism however is different, it is really an inaccurate term however. Gnostics have no special knowledge and want you to believe that they do, they are/were a cult. But thanks to modernity being such a disaster it is back from the grave like a lot of other heresies.

You're a fool if you genuinely believe in your strawman argument. We Christians know what we are reading when we read the Bible, or we wouldn't believe it. You can't have faith unless you know what you're placing your faith in.

Let's not fall into unfruitful discourses about the many uses of the vocables faith and knowledge.
Understand that there is nothing hidden, Christ himself said he gave us all that there is to know. All is explicit and clear in the world, we only need to be humble enough to not invent phantasms.

Why do you use the words "vocables" and "phantasms"? Do those have particular meaning in your background?

By vocable I meant sound as denotation, not the infinite uses of the sound. By phantasms I meant ideas our mind fabricates, idols.

You pride yourself in putting other people down apparently. Do you think Christians lack reading comprehension?

True gnosis and mysticism can only be found in the orthodox Christianity. Dualism should be set aside.

Scripture is incredibly complex. Salvation is not easy nor readily available. I do not expect everyone to readily understand scripture without proper guidance like from the early church fathers.

And I don't think God would have made salvation available only to those literate enough to read and interpret the early church fathers. We then have to surmise that He would have made available some kind of deposit of faith with some central authority validating it. if you can take a hint.
